I got my open water diving license here and can’t fault anything. Since I have a heart defect, I first had to complete a medical check-up at a doctor’s office in order to be able to take part. My diving instructor Lucca did a super good job. Instead of doing it in 3 days, we spontaneously decided on the quieter option of 4 days. Lucca was very patient with me and the other participant. The course was a great experience for both of us! Lucca gave us great tips for dealing with the pressure in the ears and we were able to discuss everything with him in peace, he really took his time and explained everything in an understandable way.
My friend completed her Advanced PADI and thought it was great too. In general, we are very satisfied with the resort: clean, working air conditioning and nice, courteous employees (especially in the dive center).

Very positive exchanges by email with the manager Nathalie unlike other diving centers.
I had the chance to discover scuba diving in the pool and then at sea with TALIA, a young instructor in terms of age but not talent. She was incredibly patient and gentle. She managed to make me overcome my phobia of the ocean through her kindness and her professional abilities as well as her experience.
The staff on site is of high quality and reflects the image of Thailand. Extremely kind.

Assava is recommended with your eyes closed!!!

Good luck and looking forward to exchanging a few bubbles in the water around pretty reefs and fish

My boyfriend and I loved this place! The accomodation was just perfect for us and the friendliness of the staff and diving instructors and the manager made our stay at Assava so wonderful. I also did my OVD course at Assava with Nico, he is the best! He was so patient, calm and experienced and also really funny, which made our diving experience so great! We loved our stay at Assava and the island so much, that we came back here after canceling our accommodations at koh phangan.
