What an experience. With help on WhatsApp all through the way, arranging motorbike taxi from the ferry port, to sharing ferry details/ ability to book tickets on resort the extra help from the staff was fantastic. Brilliant food too at a fair resort price. Had a free upgrade due to room availability. If you’re looking to stay away from the noise of Sabang and go diving, I recommend to stay here. I dived with action divers but arkipelago diving school seemed very popular with multiple dives in the day. – via

My partner and I had an amazing stay at Arkipelago Divers & Beach Resort! We chose to do our Rescue Diver certifications in Puerto Galera and were definitely happy we chose Arkipelago. The team makes you feel welcome even before you get to the Philippines. The rooms at the resort are well appointed, the WiFi is great and the food in the restaurant is delicious! The view was also top notch, and I really liked that the resort was removed from the busiest area of Puerto Galera.

The team paired divers together by experience levels and listened to where the divers wanted to dive and what they wanted to see. The Divemasters/Instructors were impeccable and always upbeat. They were very safety conscious. The boat guys all knew our names and how each diver preferred to get in and out of the water. They also knew who was going to be cold after a dive and therefore needed a dry towel.

The diving was amazing, too! There was always the opportunity to do 4 dives a day, if you wanted to. And night dives (definitely recommended) were regularly scheduled. In addition to the normal reef sites, we were also able to explore the muck sites nearby and even go to one of the deep sites to look for thresher sharks (luck wasn’t on our side, though).

Overall, I would happily recommend Arkipelago to all my diving friends. And, my partner and I have even been talking about going back to do our Divemaster certifications. If you want to book a dive holiday in Puerto Galera, do yourself a favor and book with Arkipelago Divers & Beach Resort. – via

Went with a big group of friends (took 5 rooms). A very well managed little dive resort run by a couple. Best service among similar level dive resorts or hotels I have stayed in in Philippines.

Resort itself – Everything was well attended to. Restaurant staff could call you by name right after check in. Always reachable. HALF-DAY laundry wow! Amy (the GM) knows every little thing and issue in the resort. Anything we asked we were offered help and they really did that extra to make our trip worry free! Walking distance to the small town centre.

Dives – well staffed at the shop and so well organized. Underwater was amazing. Very experienced dive master and fun to be with (we love you Thax!). We spent 5 dive days with him and we enjoyed all our dives!

Bonus – Amy’s son is an amazing and really good photographer who truly enjoy photography. He would even go on another boat to take photo of everybodyI have never taken so many photo in a dive trip!

Hi,

Been recommended this place by a friend and clearly was the best choice.
The owners Pedro and Amy with the entire team of Arkipelago are here for you at any time. They been super friendly, professional, helpful and amazing, feeling more like a family and friendly place. They will assist you for anything you need from the beginning when I start messaging them for itinerary, accomodation and dives plan.
I been diving more than 10 years now and this is one of them I highly recommend if you looking for a place with everything.
They have accomodation and restaurant as well on the beach front, quiet with a very nice view to enjoy your food and drinks.
Thanks for the great stay and will see you soon again for some very top dives ( blue ring octopus, flamboyant cuttlefish, frogfish, a lots of nudibranchs and more )
Special trip to Verde was just stunning, one of my top 3 in Philippines since 0 years 😉
