After a terrible first dive in Thailand two years ago, I hesitated to dive again due to an unpleasant instructor. When I shared my concerns with Mick, he empathized and ensured a comfortable experience. Abood, my second instructor, handled my mask issues with expertise and reassured me throughout. Honestly completely blown away by the marine life and sunken structures!!! My instructors made sure I didn’t miss a thing! Both were incredibly knowledgeable and professional. As a female traveling alone, it’s always great to find a place where I comfortable enough to stay by the pool and just be able to relax and enjoy the day!

I did not stay here. I booked two dives with Arab divers. Very professional diving resort with all the necessary facilities. No tourists, so I had a private tour with the dive master.

Arab Divers: Professionals, hard workers and efficient staff.

I can’t thank them enough for these 6 dives that I have enjoyed in Aqaba. They have accomodated every dive to the circustances and personal requests.

They are very efficient answering emails and messages. Always with a kind word and a big smile.

In the middle of the dive we turned around frantically and swam back with another diver at a very fast pace. I couldn’t keep up, was completely out of breath and could hardly breathe. At some point, the guide and the other diver were no longer to be seen. My husband and I then dived independently in the direction in which we suspected the starting point. Appeared a few meters away from it and were then hit on by our guide. No insight at all, he just said that the other diver was short of air, so he couldn’t help it.

Wir haben hier drei Tauchgänge gemacht, die ersten drei waren gut. Beim Briefing vom vierten kein Wort zum Luftdruck, auch unter Wasser wurde vom Guide nicht gefragt. Mitten im Tauchgang wurde hektisch umgedreht und mit einer weiteren Taucherin in sehr schnellem Tempo zurück geschwommen. Ich bin nicht hinterher gekommen, war völlig außer Atem und habe kaum mehr Luft mehr bekommen. Der Guide und die andere Taucherin waren irgendwann nicht mehr zu sehen. Mein Mann und ich sind dann selbständig in die Richtung getaucht, in der wir den Ausgangspunkt vermutet haben. Sind einige Meter entfernt davon aufgetaucht und wurden darauf hin von unserem Guide noch blöd angemacht. Überhaupt keine Einsicht, er meinte nur, der anderen Taucherin war die Luft knapp geworden, da könne er ja nichts für. – via google
