Damian and Josue are experts when it comes to diving. I would strongly recommmend them to anyone looking to dive in PR. Especially if you are looking to dive with dive scooters or learn how to safely and properly hunt lion fish. This was my first experience with both. Damian made the dives unforgettable. By far the best time I’ve had diving in PR. Without their expert advice and guidance on local dive conditions i could have easily been at risk of landing myself in a dangerous dive situation. They went above and beyond, after our lion fish hunt they showed us how to properly prepare lion fish and sent us home with our catch. Thank you guys so much for everything! We chose the discover scuba package as we had never tried it before. From the get go, Josue was very friendly and got us set up to go scuba diving with the paperwork, tutorial video, and gear. Our instructor was Damian who was extremely friendly, patient, and understanding with us. We chickened out while he was training us (couldn’t stay down) but he still took the time to show us the different species by Snorkling instead. We definitely recommend this place, book with them now!!! – via

This Dive shop has made my trip to Puerto Rico unforgettable. The staff are fun, kind, and most importantly knowledgeable of what their shores have to offer. Being a PADI instructor I planned to get pointers about all the shore dive locations and just go with a dive partner. But once I heard Damian speak I knew I wanted him to guide me around the island shores. He’s extremely knowledgeable and points out all the things my eyes weren’t trained to see in Puerto Rican waters. This was especially important when it came to the currents. If he wasn’t guiding my dive partner and I on a certain dive we would have probably ended up out at sea being rescued by the coast guard. He was also amazing on the DPV tour and lion fish hunt. A must but expect to want to buy a scooter after. Beyond that josue was amazing at putting us in contact with other dive operations that would provide experiences that weren’t part of Aquatica’s normal operation. As a dive professional I highly suggest you go through Aquatica for your dive experiences… if they don’t provide it they will happily point you in the right direction. – via
