I dove with Aquatic Safaris in late July. We dove the Hyde and the Marakawa. Much better than I expected 50-60 feet visibility on the wrecks. Saw Sand Tiger Sharks and lots of other Marine life. Dive shop is a short drive from the Marina so you have to return your gear to the shop after the dive. My biggest complaint is that Nitrox was $22.50 per tank. Still I plan on returning. Roll call after every dive and a good briefing before the dive. About an hour boat ride to the sites and an hour back. I recommend packing a sandwich or something to eat for the ride back. The shop required an advanced open water certification and I think that this is appropriate. Several of the divers were repeat customers. Can’t wait to go back – via

Personally wouldn’t recommend this place for certification. I had a terrible experience with my instructor. When I went back to address it with Paul the only person they could put me with was the same instructor who I didn’t feel comfortable with. Let some time pass hoping I could be placed with a different instructor only to tell me know “too much time as elapsed.” Basically wasted $500. Convenient location, but take your business elsewhere.
Responding to that reply, in no way did I ask you to “violate PADI”. You forgot to respond to why you didn’t offer anything other than a repeat with the same instructor when I came almost immediately after not completing the course?
You as a business owner never offered anything apart from repeating from the same instructor even when I did come to you very shortly after completing the course. Putting me with the same instructor offered ZERO resolution I simply did not feel comfortable with that instructor. As the business owner/instructors you have full control over the price.
You also didn’t even offer a discount to repeat the the course, of which I would have accepted… Really you acted like a “let me take your money and leave me alone” establishment and THAT is why I wouldn’t recommend your business to anyone. – via
