My partner and I just finished our Open Water + Advanced Open Water with Andy’s Scuba Diving, and we would highly recommend this shop! We went with Andy’s because of Lisa’s quick and personable communication. She was responsive, patiently answered our questions, and did not seem transactional/soley there for your business which some other dive shops seemed.
Our experience was great. Our instructor, Gun, was super fun and approachable, yet professional and attentive to our needs and improvement areas. We spent a total of four days with Gun and appreciated getting his full attention and learning from his 11 years of instructor experience. He gave us pointers in very approachable ways, was very open to our questions, made us both feel comfortable and build confidence day by day, and helped us have FUN along the way.
I was already open water certified in the US (my partner was not) but I went along with him to refresh my skills. This was a comparably better experience than I had the first time I did Open water training and I think the differentiator was Gun’s teaching and coaching style.

Wouldn’t choose anyone else but Andy’s! My last time in Thailand I went diving with instructor Angel and this time round with instructor Gun – both amazing and so friendly, really made our diving day 100x better. Lisa is a great communicator and so helpful with any questions we had. Can’t wait for some more dives this trip over to Phi Phi 🙂 – via

Booked a 3 tank dive with Andy’s Scuba Diving after plenty of recommendations from the “Girls That Scuba” group on facebook. I had initially inquired about the dive ~6 months prior. Lisa was very good at answering all my questions.
Once I arrived in Thailand I reconfirmed my book with her and she arranged everything including my equipment sizing, pick up and drop off.
On the day of the actual dives, I was greeted by my instructor, Angel. He was great and very informative. He gave me a briefing before every dive. Luckily enough, I had him all to myself and he was very attentive. I felt safe throughout my entire dive and he always ensured that I was comfortable with certain things before leading me into them – i.e, going through an underpass, swimming through a stronger current, etc. The lunch and the views were amazing. It was my first time diving so I was a bit nervous but everyone was so helpful and eased me into it, making it so enjoyable and turns out to be the best experience I had in Thailand! Jon was my instructor along with Arno, they’re so knowledgable and enthusiastic about diving and aquatic life. Would recommend it to anyone wanting to dive, beginner or not ?? – via

I cannot recommend this place enough.
We had a tour with Gun. The guy’s a legend.
His English is great and he made the effort to even try and learn our Yorkshire twang!
Lisa (also from Yorkshire) answered the phone and got us booked in the following day.
We had a fantastic experience. We shared a boat with other tours, however it wasn’t over crowded and I believe this is standard practice. We saw some great fish down there and it’s one hell of an experience that I’ll never forget.
I struggled when going down due to my ears, but Gun was very caring and reassured me constantly to not rush and helped me along the way.
I could go on… but you’re probably reading these reviews before you press ‘book now’ so I’ll shut up and let you press it.

Do not hesitate to book your dive trip with Andy’s scuba diving. From the very first moment, Lisa was so friendly and helpful making preparations and tailor making our experience.
Then we hop aboard an immaculate private charter, so clean, comfortable and fitted out with snacks, fruit and many choices of beverages including delicious iced coffee.
Jon and his crew made us feel so welcome and briefed us on our upcoming adventure. They were so friendly and helpful throughout our dives and this only enhanced the experience.
We felt so safe in their care and confident in their knowledge.
Let’s also talk about the food! Can’t forget our post dive gourmet meal! Thai curry chicken, fluffy white rice, salads, vegetables and breaded chicken drumsticks!

We have been diving with this lovely crew for a few years now, and we have always had good time and a super professional service. They are very responsive, the planning is very careful and organized, and dive masters are experienced, friendly and solid. To top it all, the food aboard is always tasty, which is a nice addition to the wonderful days out at sea. Nothing less than exceptional experience!!! GuNn (yes that’s his name :)) my instructor was more than patient with me while I struggled with some open diving skills. He took time to observe and gave me tips and small adjustments that helped me feel confident in my ability to complete them !!! Lisa and her crew was amazing and very attentive !!! We could enjoy every moment on the charter boat !!! Food was amazing and the view point on the private beach was thrilling. – via
