I did a dive in Ikaria with Yiorgos, he is an extremely professional and experienced diver who made me feel completely safe and comfortable. We followed the wharf out at Agios Kyrkios, there are lots of fish and it’s an easy dive, which reaches 16 metres. The whole process was effortless and fun. Highly recommend! – via

I cannot rate this place high enough.
As I was island hopping I enquired about diving a couple of weeks before I arrived, and the reply was quick and informative.
We arranged a date and time to arrive at the shop and the plan will be discussed then.
On the day, I arrived at the shop and was warmly greeted by Yioryos and Kimmi. They both immediately made me feel relaxed and welcomed.
All the kit I used was in great condition. Both of them helped me get everything I needed. I did not feel rushed or pressured at all, and before we left Yioryos and I discussed different dive options available with the weather conditions we had.
I felt very safe and confident with Yioryos. He is such an enthusiastic and passionate guy who clearly loves what he does. It became infectious! His professionalism is also outstanding. Every dive came with a briefing beforehand so I knew exactly where we were going, what depth, what we could see, hand signals etc.
I originally intended to do 2 dives but quickly realised I wanted to do more. When I enquired they were happy to accommodate this, even though it was there day off (thank you once again).

We had our first contact with Amaso dive center trough mail before we went to Ikaria and everything was well explained and the few questions that i had were all answered.
On the day of our two dives all our gear was taken good care of. The suit and bcd that i rented was in excellent condition and the dives with Giorgios and his assistant were cool and fun.
These guys are truly an example of how a diveshop should be. Professional and tons of fun.
Next time when i come back to Ikaria its a no-brainer to hook up with Amaso dive center again.

We spent four unforgettable diving days with Giorgios (PADI Open Water certification). With his positive vibes he knows how to perfectly combine vacation fun and dutiful learning of the important diving skills. He is calm, patient and very experienced which makes you feel very safe at any time. The highlights were a dive to a plane wreck from the 2nd world war and a night dive. Giorgios is an excellent instructor and I will be very happy to come back for more diving adventures. Highly recommended! – via

I recently completed my open water at Amaso Dive center and cannot recommend it enough!! I had never tried Scuba diving before and George very gently and patiently guided me through the whole process – he was always happy to explain things further and repeat anything I was unsure about. He took us to super cool places and inspired us with all his exciting diving stories. So much so that we’re already planning a trip back to do our advanced qualification with him asap! He runs a super nice dive shop with his lovely wife Kim on the beautiful island of Ikaria. Looking forward to seeing you guys again soon! – via

Yiorgos and Marianna are so friendly, welcoming and professional at what they do!
Wether it’s your first time or not, do yourself a favor and go for a dive with these guys. We had so much fun before, during and after the dive and always felt safe with them.
If i come to Ikaria again, i will definitely pay them a visit once more!
