I had a great week with Alvaro! It was my first experience and they made me feel prepared and comfortable. I ended up staying a few more days after getting certified to do some more dives. It’s on a quiet cove with only a few restaurants, bars, and bungalows – I never had to leave! It was a great experience and I’ll be back after quarantine. – via

Professional diving school with really nice diving instructors and guides who are happy to help with questions about the island. The diving groups are always very small with 1 to 4 divers. The dive boat is never overcrowded and everyone has more than enough space. All dives were great – even if the visibility was sometimes limited. Unfortunately, that cannot be changed. The rental equipment is well maintained and in good condition.
There is usually someone in the diving school who also speaks German. In my opinion one of the best diving schools. -via

Great diving centre!
We had a great time on there big boat!
If you’re not diving, you can relax in some hammocks on the upper deck or go snorkeling.
They provide you with coffee/thee and some small snacks (cookies and watermelon.

Getting there can be a chalange if you don’t know the route, but that way there beach and bar is very private and relax.
Park your motorbike close to new heaven hostel and walk along the beach to the right up to a concrete jetty. walk on the jetty, through a bar / restaurant and there you will find them. – via

My husband and I spent four days with Alvaro Diving getting our Open Water PADI certificates. My husband had done a few taster dives before, but I was a total novice. Everyone at Alvaro made us both feel very welcome and at ease at all times. They were very knowledgeable and experienced and the whole experience was incredibly enjoyable. I can’t wait to go diving again! – via
