overall, the experience of skydiving was so so much fun and i had an amazing time. i really liked my instructor and i thought he was really cool, up until we landed. maybe i didnt do something right im not sure, but we took a little tumble. i didnt have any scrapes or bruises or bumps (maybe he did? i’m not sure but we didnt fall that hard) but i could tell he was really frustrated with me. obviously i didn’t want to mess up but mistakes happen. anyway, just felt unprofessional and kinda bratty. i asked him if he was ok and apologized, wish i got the same back. also, photo and video prices are ridiculous and they charge you 15$ extra just to get a video without their music over it. seems like they’re in it just for the money 🙂 – via

I’ve been diving a few months now with Aloha scuba diving and they are the best experience. Here’s why:
The dive crew are exceptionally professional
The crew are really considerate and accommodating of different levels of skill.
The dive instructors are natural conservationists and by this I mean they truly love the environment and are stewards of what remains of Hawaii’s underwater beauty and creatures. One of the instructors sold for example took time to remove filament trash that was ensnared in the sand not easy to cut out, and when showing divers an octopus hole, the instuctor took time gently playing with the edge of its hole to pique it’s curiosity and come out some and did not like I’ve seen elsewhere prod the octopus.
Other regular divers living in Hawaii who use Aloha Scuba are very friendly and make one feel part of the ohana. It’s nice coming on the boat and seeing others you’ve dived with and feel welcome not only by the crew but by the regular club members.
If you want great value and a great experience then dive w Aloha. – via

I have been diving with Aloha 3 times this winter so far and I have been very happy with my experiences. They have been amazing to accommodate my last minute bookings due to my work situation! They take safety seriously and as flight crew myself, I really appreciated their great briefings; one thorough safety briefing from the boat captain and another one from the instructor so you know how the dive will proceed and review signals. On my first time with them getting back into diving, the sea was extremely rough and our crew was amazing in making sure everyone had everything they needed at all times! Captain Derek did a phenomenal job getting everyone safely in the water and out at the end. I’ve spent most of my dives there with Micheal, Rob and Saul and they maintain great communication at all times, give great tips and debriefs too, answer your questions and ease your worries… They make sure you’re always comfortable! As I felt more confident with every dives, I signed up for the wreck dive last week and it was absolutely amazing! I’m still on a high from my deep dive to the Sea Tiger and hope to have a chance to do it again very soon… You guys are great! Keep it up! Can’t wait to be back! – via

I had an amazing experience with the Aloha Scuba Diving Company. Our instructor Michael was patient, and knowledgeable. (in that order) 😉 I was a little worried going in to the course, but was set completely at ease by the professionalism shown by the entire Aloha Scuba Diving Company team. I would highly recommend them to anyone seeking scuba certification. Mahalo Aloha Team! – via

I had such a wonderful experience with Dive Aloha. They were fun and professional and never once did I feel unsafe. I got my open water certification with them and left feeling confident and completely trained. I would most definitely dive with Dive Aloha again next time I am in Hawaii. I highly recommend them. And thanks to Dive Aloha, I think I have found another new hobby. 🙂 – via

Absolutely a fantastic experience with an awesome group of people❤️. If you’re a beginner, as we are, this crew will look after you 1000% making this an experience you don’t want to pass on. Our only regret, not diving sooner on our vacation with the Aloha Scuba Diving Company. We will be back!!! Cheers to the entire crew on the Diamond T II – via

I am way overdue in posting this review. I’ve been diving in Oahu for about 4 months now, much of that time with Aloha Scuba Diving Company. Diving with Aloha is a fantastic experience…every time. Most outings consist of small dive groups, resulting in a more personal experience from a really great crew. Justin, the owner and boat captain, sets the tone and atmosphere for a safe and enjoyable dive experience. Whether you’re a never-ever looking for open water certification, a certified diver just looking for some great diving, or an advanced diver chasing specialty or professional dive certifications, Ken and Nick lead a remarkable team of instructors and divemasters ready to provide you whatever you need. Of note, Savannah and Libby are both amazing underwater “tour guides”, who are quite keen on pointing out all the interesting underwater life. Derrick is a great dive instructor, though I never get to dive with him as he always seems to be qualifying new divers. Finally, there are the regulars. If you spend any time with this crew, you are bound to run into former Navy diver Dan and CoCo the “dive gypsy”, both great human beings who are just a joy to be around.
Diving is a competitive industry here in Hawaii with quite a few dive companies, each offering their own dive experience. Having had the opportunity to dive with a number of them, Aloha is by far my favorite. – via

I definitely recommend this company for beginner scuba diving training. I had never dived before and took my open water PADI certification within two days. My instructor was Libbie, along with two other instructors that joined only for two dives, and Savanah that helped them all. Everybody was very professional and supportive and tried their best so that we all have a great experience. They were always on time and provided all the gears for free. I also appreciate not being pushy in selling us stuff at the shop. – via
