We’ve been coming to ATA for over a year now and have been in the reef tank hobby for a decade. Saying that ATA is the best fish and coral store we have ever worked with is an understatement!!! Below are just a few of the reasons why they continue to be the one stop shop for all our aquatic needs: 1) The staff is extremely knowledgeable, experienced, helpful, and importantly gets to know you, your tank needs and inhabitants over time. There have been several instances when we wanted to purchase a particular fish or coral and the staff reminded us that it might not get along with other tank inhabitants we have simply from memory and their desire to help us create the best aquatic ecosystem possible-they don’t try to upsell you!!! This is the personalize experience you won’t get from the online stores and we’ve shopped those in the past too.. 2) importantly, their prices are often below what you will find online for better variety and quality livestock (we have directly price compared).. 3) if you don’t see the livestock you want in stock, they can often get it for you and they will hold livestock for you for pick up simple by calling ahead (this has streamlined so many purchases for us. 4) they have a rigorous quarantining protocol to ensure the livestock you purchase are healthy and will not bring disease to your established reef tank.5) they have an adorable french bulldog named Igor who is a delight and worth a trip to see even if don’t have fish! 5) ATA is kid friendly, my children love to visit “the aquarium” and are welcomed by staff and Igor alike. I highly recommend ATA to those who are mature in the hobby or just starting out. They are and will continue to be our top resource for our reef tank. Stop by, you won’t regret it!
