Personalmente si quieren asegurarse un buen buceo…no es el sitio…luego es mi experiencia personal…pero el material no era nada adecuado a mi talla, llenan las botellas a 2500 en vez de 3000…solo tengo advanced y unos 20 o mas buceos, y siempre m cuidaron bien.Pero esta vez no m senti en confianza y menos en buenas condiciones para bajar a 20 metros. I had a very unfortunate experience with this “company”. When we went into to book the dive, the young man helping us seems disinterested and inconvenienced. He seemed to be more concerned and bothered with the street construction going on outside than he did helping us. We booked for a dive for $300 two days prior to the dive date.

Unfortunately the night before the dive I became very sick with food poising to the point I was running a high fever and was having sever stomach issues. We called multiple times as early as possible that morning and sent several emails to inform them that we didn’t feel it was safe to dive.

They responded via email only saying that because we signed the contract that shows the cancellation policy they will not offer any refund at all.

The young man helping us passed off this “contract” as a medical review and mentioned nothing about a cancellation policy. It would have taken maybe 30 seconds to bring that to our attention but he didn’t.

I emailed back about an hour later requesting just a $150 refund to meet half way and they didn’t even respond to the email.

There are several dive shops in Tamarindo. I wouldn’t recommend this one. – via google

Had a fantastic experience doing the refresher course and two tank dive with Aqua Rica. Aqua Rica is a family run business with a fun and friendly atmostphere, and strong emphasis on safety.

Claudio and his son Matteo shared with me their experiences of diving in the region and their knowledge of its ecology, walking me through the various marine species I encountered diving (e.g. white tipped sharks, puffer fish, and eagle rays) and whilst on the boat. In addition, the father-son pair recounted the other types of marine life that can be seen at different seasons e.g. orcas and humpbacks. Thank you Claudio and Matteo, I shall be back. – via google

Was in Tamarindo for 2 weeks and looked around to get PADI open water certified. Stopped in this shop to check it out. Don’t waste your time. Was told the price, but they said there was a discount if I did the e-learning at home or in the hotel, then requoted the same exact price when I would be doing all the work alone. Shop was dirty, person we were talking to really DGAF. Also said it would take 5 days, other shops said 4. Their reviews seem good but I only give three stars because I didnt actually book with them. I usually dont post reviews but I want people to save time and Money.

Called another place in Flamingo, the divemeaster came to Tamarindo to discuss the course and picks you up every morning. One on one instruction for the classroom work, excellent vibes. – via google
