After being taken care of so diligently at Ski Center, I figured it was only proper to leave a review of my experience. It was phenomenal from start to finish. Skiing is pretty personal to me. I skied all through my adolescence; however, stopped skiing after two brain injuries(not skiing related). The doctors advised me I couldn’t and maybe shouldn’t ski again. After a lengthy rehabilitation process, I decided to get back on the mountain and surprised myself a few years ago. I’ve rented since then but made the decision that it was time to invest in my own this year.
I just recently moved here from CO and obviously there isn’t as many shops here but finding the right one was really important. So I made the 90 minute drive, and Mark assisted me every step of the way. He listened to my story, put in his input, as well as listened to mine. From boot fitting to bindings he took care of me. When it came to my ski length, it was a real toss up, no choice being the wrong choice. I ended up deciding on the shorter ski.
After losing a night of sleep wondering if I made the right call on length, I called ski center the next day and a wonderful woman picked up the phone (didn’t catch her name). I hoped it wasn’t to late to switch to the longer ski. Thankfully it wasn’t and she made sure they got swapped. I was so very grateful!
I also had a big CO ski trip coming up and I knew I might be pushing it for a turn around time but they made sure I had my equipment for my trip. As long as I’m here on the East Coast, you’ll definitely be my ski shop. Thank you everyone at Ski Center, you have no idea how much it means to me. You’re the best! – via
