(Translated by Google) An absolutely amazing trip, which was taken care of to a great extent by the absolutely wonderful guide Carolina. We thank her very much for that.

In view of the tour prices ($355 per person -> starting point Drake Bay – overnight tour with overnight stay in “Jungle Lodge”), this is not only boldly expensive, but also nothing really special. From our veranda in Drake Bay we saw almost more animals (countless macaws, vultures, iguanas, 1000 birds) than in the national park. The park is beautiful…but in other parts of Costa Rica we have seen just as beautiful nature and observed animals on the “roadside” which are the subject of a huge clamor during a guided tour in Corcovado.
If you want to see great nature and animals, the Caribbean coast is much better and cheaper. – via

(Translated by Google) We visited the park a week ago.
We had provided shoes, mosquito repellent pants etc.
In the dry season, you don’t need all that! Our guide was even in a mini skirt!
The fast boat part very nice to get there, but the park very disappointing.
About ten groups landed including us, each group had about 8 people. The groups follow each other on a wide path like the Bois de Vincennes, the guide has binoculars on tripods, we saw a very tall sloth, a toucan, a few spider monkeys, a swarm sleeping in a hole that the guides know by heart… in short no exceptional discovery, you will even find shiny toilets when you arrive…. Hello wild side….
Since we have been on the Caribbean coast we have seen several sloths, chameleons, dozens of howler monkeys!
No really need to go to a very expensive park!

– via
