We loved this place. They really care and know about horses and riding was amazing. Also I recommend to book all other activities from here too. They work with a other good companies and you don’t need to walk anywhere. Thank you so much! – via

The best horseback riding experience ever! We took 3.5 hour course to Arenal falls with our guide Joel and it was one of the best part of our trip to Costa Rica. You can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the volcanic mountain enroute and a coconut drink, a cold bottled water, entrance fee to the La Fortuna waterfalls, and the most delicious pineapple after the ride are all included! We booked via Google review chat function a night before they’re very responsive. We have done horseback riding in the states many times, this was the best one thus far. Highly recommend! You can also book Arenal area tour/activities with Selim (male owner) and he offered the best price for the zip lining in Los Lagos next day! – via

They seem to have two options, one goes to the Fortuna waterfall (which is what we did) and to ride just around the farm. Joel was attentive and considerate as a guide, the first part of the ride is on his family farm. The farm is gorgeous and luscious, and in the rain it made it even more special.
Cons: the main downside was that to get to the waterfall you have to walk the horses on the roads with cars for at least half of the ride.
– we are experienced horse riders, and these are pretty typical trail horses that don’t have a lot of initiative.
Pros:
– we loved our guide! Joel was so helpful and we are very bad at Spanish so it was nice to have a fluent English speaker!
– amazing experience totally worth the price point for the amount of time, and inclusion of the waterfall.
– so nice that Joel walked us down all the down to the waterfall and put up with our many many questions.
– we loved the treats of coconut water on the way, and pineapple awaiting us when we came back!
– saw amazing wildlife, a sloth, a toucan, a little family of Howler monkeys and their farm cows.
– horses seem very safe and predictable.
– we were able to buy the tickets the night before, and Selim was so hospitable and helpful to help us coordinate the tour. – via
