Sorry Revelstoke Resort but the Town of Revy is doing all the heavy lifting.
OK so here goes. Will not comment about the snow as we had a heat wave in mid March so that’s all about Mother Nature not playing ball. It’s an awesome ski town. Yes the resort has some nice fall line and some easy to access side country. Now here come the “buts”.
The town is doing all the hard work for the resort. The resort needs to mature a little. Yes the grand plans of old to install lots of new lift that expand the terrain have not happened. “But” there is so much that can be done to improve the vibe of the resort. A simple food truck with some tunes and good food at the bottom or top of Ripper chair would create some options and vibe. Mackenzie Outpost, is on the money, “but” get some more lounge chairs 50% of the people are looking for. Spot to sit, lounge and spend money (take a research trip to a European resort and see how it’s done with simple sun lounges).
Revelation Lodge – For the current owner just remember it’s not a Denny’s, it’s got zero vibe unless you like public school halls. – via
