Extremely kind, patient, and helpful staff. Our dive had to be cancelled due to weather conditions and the staff helped us figure out a new date and helped us schedule a last minute activity for the day with the rain.
When we returned later in the week, the boat and dive environment felt very relaxed, I had a great experience 🙂 – via

Fantastic staff! We booked our 1st family scuba lessons here. The staff did an excellent job managing our teens who were fast learners vs my husband and I who needed extra attention and encouragement ??. Really could not have asked for a better 1st experience. We all learned a lot about scuba and will continue practicing. The staff also had safety as the highest priority and we appreciated that. – via

DONT DIVE QUEPOS IN JULY!!! Dive CAÑO ISLAND!!!!
The rainy season completely obliterates any shallow dive visibility.
Overall I am not sure I would dive with this shop again ??.
We planned this dive for part of our honeymoon trip, overall if we had known the visibility’s was less than 2 meters (about 9 feet around) we wouldn’t have gone. It felt borderline unsafe and the boat was in my opinion and experience for the visibility and current we experienced was overloaded by maybe 2-4 people. We were in a dive group of about 4-5 people with one guide in atrocious visibility. We dove in the heavy current I’ve ever felt and I’ve dove two well known heavy current dives and this was like a pendulum knocking us into each other, rocks, etc…
We couldn’t even spread out because then we’d lose our guide or knock into each other (5 of us plus guide)
Our first dive was max 29ft with huge rock formations called the lighthouse very shallow wouldn’t recommend. They provided us all our gear and fortunately planned with reserves and additional gear.
Both my and my husbands gear malfunctioned on the boat not in the water. When I tested my air I heard that dreaded free flow sound and it came from my primary regulator. My husbands gear also had minor cracks and his regulator also free flowed.
Our second dive was Bajo de Diablo and it was about the same as the first max dearth at 38ft at the lowest my computer tracked and that was when I was on the ocean floor trying to look for the bubbles of my group after we got lost and separated from them … the first time.
Visibility was so bad we ascended (BIG SHOUT OUT THE CAPTAIN JIMMY) our captain came to us and dragged us on the side of the boat to where he could see bubbles. At this point my husbands gage was malfunctioning but it was his first dive and he wasn’t sure if it was operator error Or equipment so he kept it to himself as we descended. We were down on a sandy bottom between rocks looking for our group for the second time, it was at this point my husbands gage was jumping from 1000 psi to 0 psi. So we ascended, practiced a safety stop, at that depth isn’t completely necessary. Jimmy the captain came and picked us up and we sat on the boat as my husband caught sea sickness( he didn’t win and fed fish) the waves were high and the weather got progressively worse.
I would only use this shop again for the staff! Logan was patient and helpful, NASH WAS AMAZING! Captain Jimmy was our hero and the front desk gal (so sorry I forgot your name) was incredibly helpful and helped us book a Caño island dive that I would’ve dove as many times as I could’ve.
I hope this review is helpful please understanding it is not a reflection on the staff for the quality of the dive (perhaps they should’ve rescheduled or refunded us due to safety) but i understand the opportunity and optimism. – via

(Translated by Google) Very good diving experience (2 end dives) around the islands of Manuel Antonio. Great staff, good equipment. Fruit, cookies and water break between the two dives. 1 dive master for 4 divers. The visibility was unfortunately not excellent and I was afraid of losing my group sometimes (a reminder on the procedure in this case would be welcome ☺️)

First time diving in the ocean after receiving my cert. staff was very friendly and made sure I was comfortable before getting in the water. Dive master Rob helped our group of 6 get good looks at moray eels and lots of fish. Did two dives about 40 and 45 minutes each at two dive sites. Staff set up and took down all the gear making it easy to just hop on the boat and go. Full tour took about 4 hrs and cost 130 a person. – via

I travelled to Oceans Unlimited Scuba Diving to do the IDC and instructor examination. I had a warm welcome from all the staff at the shop, Wenda, Megan and Nashira were at the front desk and all were very helpfull taking any details required for the course and providing information about the local area and the dive shop. Georgia got things started with an introduction followed by the course schedule, she managed the course efficiently making sure we were all prepared for the IE. Melisa and Logan were the two instructors working with us during the IDC. Melisa is a fantastic instructor and you can see that she is naturally suited to teaching and that she knows the areas that need to be worked on in preparation for the IE. Melisa made sure we were competent with all aspects of the course material. Logan has an effortless style of teaching and this helped us relax during the course, he is very familiar with the local conditions and sites, all of which helped us achieve instructor rating. – via
