The place was alright, although the rooms and furnishings are dated. The beach is not the best. The service is good, but we encountered an issue at checkout: my wife ruined a badsheet with the iron, and they initially demanded 1700php, which was reduced to 1200php after negotiating with the staff. The manager refused to speak with us directly. For a low-quality, worn-out polyester sheet, the price seemed absurd.
Edit: Sean, you are FORCING the guest to sign the policy. Why don’t you make it clear BEFORE the booking? Do you really think this is good business practice? – via

This hotel is situated in the middle of main attractions, around 15 min drive to both Sabang, White beach & tamarraw falls. We personally like it because its 10mins walk to the main town and perfect if you are looking to experience the locals. It is away from hussle and bussle of busy Puerto Galera center attractions. The accomodation, food and activities are reasonably priced. You can even book your boat transport to the mainland. This hotel is right next to the beach with midsize pool perfect to cool down or practice your scuba diving, and the kids loved the mini pool. Everyone, all ataff are super friendly, helpful and very welcoming which we enjoyed the most. The bar and restaurant have plenty to offer. The beds are comfy and rooms have ACs, safety vault, balconies.and plenty of parking. We originally booked for 3 nights and ended up staying for the whole week. I will definitely book again and i highly recommend staying in this property. Thank you so much Badladz, it was not bad at all and congratulations. You have a fantastic team! – via

Ok so Mindoro has a lot of small resorts. We have only stayed at two so I have limited experience with the area. That being said Badladz was very well set up. It is small but everything from the pool to the beach to the restaurant was nice. The pool has a nice little cove but more importantly because of the cove it has a small waterfall. That waterfall provides great noise cover for the resort. If you have been to the smaller tourist areas of the Philippines. You will know that dogs, roosters, and road noise can be a problem. The resort is away from the road and lower so that takes care of the road noise. While we were there we did not see any dogs on the resort property which is rare. Although there were several on the road going to the resort. So that leaves roosters. I honestly have no idea if they had any nearby because of the white noise provided by the waterfall. So finally being able to sleep in the Philippines without ear plugs was nice. Ok on to the restaurant. The menu is varied with several Mexican and Filipino dishes to choose from. Along with a few American dishes and sandwiches. We ate there several times and we left full and happy with the food we ate. I liked the chicken curry best myself. The view from the restaurant goes right to the beach. The glass windows swing open or can be closed in case of heavy rain. The view is what you are thinking of when you think of a Philippines vacation. Coconut trees, beautiful water and a nice sandy beach. Unfortunately it was a short vacation and mostly for scuba diving so we didn’t have time to go swimming at the resort itself. I definitely loved the view and there were a few people swimming while we were there. They do have a dive shop on site that offers classes and different tours. We had made prior arrangements so we did use them on this vacation. It looked well put together so I plan to try them out next time we go. Overall I think it is one of the better small resorts in the area. Just far enough removed from the town to not have the noise but close enough for a quick tuk tuk ride to get supplies and such. We are a family with young ones so we were glad to be a good distance from the red light district in Sabang. I would recommend this place to others and plan to stay there next time we are in the area. – via

Happy to be able for very late checkin. Book online, standard room starts from 2k incl a decent breakfast. Access to the beach is great, to the pool from 10am not really .. more or less same beach then at mainland in batangas province, they try to clean up a bit at least.
Standard room is ok, bit overpriced for the value but with the breakfast its ok.
Beside that they ve everything what u can imagine to do on the Island, great variety on their programs and tours, diving trips of course and different motorbike rentals starting from 500.
If uve read their rules, they must have had some real idiots staying there, now everyone must pay for their stupidity.. – via
