On the afternoon of February 20, 2024, I booked a diving package for 2 people at Jomtien Dive Center. Because my eyes are nearsighted, I paid 700b and ordered two pairs of 500 and 700 degree myopia masks. The next day, the car picked us up and took us to the store. Before boarding the car again and going to the pier, we consulted the staff about our diving equipment. Answer: All on board. After boarding the boat, we were arranged for the second batch of dives. Upon inspection, it was discovered that the scheduled myopia mask was not available. The dive guide replied: He did not receive any notification. He also said: You can see far underwater, even without a myopia mask. We have diving certificates, and I also know that you can actually see further underwater than you can on the ground. But I originally spent the very expensive 700b just for a better diving experience. Now that we are already on the boat (there are about 20 tourists on one boat), it is unrealistic to ask the staff to come back to get it, or for us to give up diving. After returning to the store at around 2 p.m., we reported the matter to the store owner. The owner replied: You have already dived, which means you agree by default. Only promised to refund 700b. It is normal to make mistakes at work. But merely verbally apologizing for mistakes really lacks the spirit of a business contract. Even if it is 1000b (the diving price for two people is 7800b), it is still a correction of work mistakes. Also: 1. I found a leak in the BCD before diving. Fortunately, I discovered it myself and asked the diving guide to change it. 2. The diving guide is nice, but the workload is too heavy, and his fingers are already white from water. I did my open water certification with Real Divers and it was amazing. From the beginning, the communication with Neil was a breeze. I got in touch with him a couple of months before arriving in Thailand to schedule the certification. Upon arrival in Thailand I had schedule conflicts due to a medical procedure and he was very kind to adjust the schedule accordingly. My teacher Richard was amazing. I always wanted to dive but I was also anxious about it and he really took the time to explain all the different equipments and techniques. He helped me overcome my anxiousness by being patient and calming with me. Richard always respected my limits while encouraging me to push them bit by bit at my own pace. He helped me gain confidence in the new skills he taught me and because of him I can now say I am not a shallow diver and I’m am not afraid to dive anymore. I highly recommend Real Divers for certification and for experienced divers as well. Also the boat is just a few steps away from the shop, no need to drive to get to it and is in very good condition.
Don’t look any further, it’s the best dive center in Pattaya. – via

I been diving many time with them and finally ended up to do my dive master and instructor course with them.
They have a great team of instructors and dive master. I got many advices from all of them to help me get more experience and confidence during my training.
Boats are really comfortable and the food for lunch is nice, also have fresh water, coffee, tea and cookies available all day on boat.
I would recommend Jomtien dive center to anyone who wish take a course or go for a fun dive :-).
Try to go down the Hardeep wreck if you can, one of the most interesting dive I did!!!! – via

Nuls, usine à gaz!!! Malgré réservation et confirmation de 3 jours plus tôt, nous avons été oubliés !!! ils ne se sont pas excusés.
Avec beaucoup de retard et appels téléphoniques, nous avons tout de même plongé, mais pendant la sortie promise avec guide francophone, celui qui nous a accompagné n’était pas francophone et pas même équipée d’une simple torche: ( la base de l’équipement).
Conclusion il nous a perdu sur une épave !!! Ensuite pas de possibilité de remplir le carnet de plongée, mais promesse de nous envoyer un mail de certification que nous attendons toujours depuis 1 mois.
Par contre, pour payer, c’était avant la plongée.

Pathetic experience. We went for snorkeling, they took us 45 km from jomtein beach for snorkeling?? Could have just informed when booking that it is not worth to go so far for just snorkeling with 10 year old kid. But just wanted to collect money.
If you are going for snorkeling ,they will ask you to sit on side and will be busy with scuba diving customer,
Noone gave any information and clue on what is happening….like we don’t exist…and then local guy came to take us. Gears given was broken but by the time we realize we are already in the middle of water and guy was just dragging us in water.
Second time he asked I just do not want to go.
When returning to hotel again 45 km back, local thai women basically a staff who works with them, speak very rudly with me ….I completely avoided..in thai such women are called “thou ley”.
Thank you for wasting my and my daughter’s time.
Money I do not care, I could have just donated you and your thai lady staff.
I know you will reply with all justification and clarification that because of wind we go far…blah blah blah…that’s not the point. Ethics is, if you see 10 year old kid travelling, you should inform that this trip would not worth your time. Please go back to your country and learn some ethics again because staying in thailand you forgot about that and just focus on looting money from tourist – via

Excellent day out for a few dives, one being a wreck dive. This operation was well run and the dive boat ensured we were travelling and diving in comfort. Great bunch or people of all nationalities. The best dive outfit in Pattaya. Everything is taken of for you, the staff are all very friendly, knowledgeable and most importantly, helpful and approachable.
The boat is large, spacious and well laid out. The provided lunch was really nice and there was plenty for everyone on board. Plus water, tea, coffee, biscuits, all free and help yourself.
The rental equipment is standard rental gear but it all looked well maintained and cared for.
The dive groups are small and matched to level and experience.
The boat and dive briefs covered everything without being long and boring.

I spent two days diving with this group. The first day visibility was rubbish but it was still a great day. The whole team is super friendly and try to make sure everyone is having a good time. Day two we were able to get to Koh Rin for two beautiful reef dives. The dive masters are friendly and knowledgeable, the food was yummy and plentiful and I can’t recommend this group enough. – via

I dived with jomtien back in July. My experience was only ok sadly. The people who run it are nice and the Thai diving master I was with is very good. The first dive went well. However the second dive not so much. There were a couple of younger divers with us who broke very fundamental rules regarding following the master and your buddy. Given visibility was very poor this is even more critical. They became lost, so the master rightly so had to surface after about ten minutes. Those others then decided to carry on by themselves for over twenty minutes while we sat on the surface waiting for them. I realise this isn’t the schools fault, however I was told after that they are known and do this often. If that’s the case, they should be warned and if necessary not allowed to dive with them if it continues. Also while I received an apology, I wasn’t offered any kind of partial refund. – via

I had a great time with these guys doing my three days of PADI Openwater course plus one fun dive.
All steffs were friendly, especially my instructor Wayne was a fantastic guy with amazing teaching skills and humour.
Foods on the boat were also great, much better than random restaurants in the city.
I already miss this guys, and I am sure I will be back one time.
