Man was this disappointing. I don’t know if it’s just who I got but the instructor was of no use and completely ignored me to flirt with one of the female customers who was also a part of the lesson. On top of that, I tried calling/texting/emailing the morning of due to severe thunderstorm warnings to see if I could reschedule. No one answered, and since it was prepaid I went anyway – only to be pummeled by the stormy waters to the point were after the useless “lesson” none of us could use the board for the extra hour that was supposed to be included. The hotel in front of the Waterworld shack had red flags up to tell people the water was unsafe to enter on top of that, but when I asked the instructor about it he shrugged it off. The board itself was falling apart. No one has replied to my inquiry for a refund yet. – via

Booked a beginner surfing class through viator and took a class today.The instructor is very patient. Parked in the hotel parking lot and cost $5 only. I was too excited and forget to tip( very sorry ) so leave a good comment here. – via

This is a board rental place not a surfing school. I booked 2 hour session and the instruction took 10 minutes and after that you just struggle on your own. No correction or feedback. I’m giving 2 stars because the instructor was nice. But this is not a place to learn. My kids actually got discouraged from trying again. – via

This is a board rental place not a surfing school. I booked 2 hour session and the instruction took 10 minutes and after that you just struggle on your own. No correction or feedback. I’m giving 2 stars because the instructor was nice. But this is not a place to learn. My kids actually got discouraged from trying again. – via

Had an AMAZING time in our surfing lesson with Ray. He was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful while being super warm and positive the whole time. Can’t beat learning to surf in warm water on a beautiful beach with a great instructor! – via
