One of the most special, unique experiences I’ve ever had! Highly recommend booking a tour with Manny and his team at Tulum Diving & Travel.
Manny and his team were not only wonderful guides and extremely knowledgable about the activities and history of Mexico, he became like family. I became a certified scuba diver with Manny’s training and feel extremely comfortable with the skills I learned. We visited the Mayan Sun, floating on a lagoon and learning about history at the ruins. We ate some of the best tacos of my life and I experienced Tulum like never before. – via
We went to Coba ruins and Punta Laguna Monkey Reserve Day tourwith Tulum Diving & Travel.
It was a well tailored and overall wholsome experience.
I can’t recomend it more! It’s so easy to feel like an explorer or movie protagonist when you stroll trough Coba ruins, zipline over vast lagoon, crouse trough jungle, explore cold undeground cenote.
You eaven meet Mayans and their shaman so you check all that classic adventure points.
Our guide Alvaro had wits, knowlage he take such good care of us that he made whole awsome exrusion even better. He was so good that same day we booked an snorekling trip to reef (that i recomed too) with same company.
We highly recomend this trip.
Also we recomend to choose them for snorkeling activites. – via
We were hosted in Tulum and we hired the trip to Cozumel, all transportation was (supposedly) included. They told us to meet at the lobby hotel at 7am, we arrived at 6:55 and the drive said “we need to rush in order to reach Playa del Carmen before 8:00 to take the ferry”. We were extremely surprised because the schedule (decided by them) was to tight. The thing is that everything was part of a plot.
When we arrived to Plata del Carmen at 7:55 (risking our lives in the car), suddenly the guy from Tulum Diving & Travel “realised” that the ferry was full and that they did not purchase the ticket. Their answer was that, considering that “we” lost the ferry, we would not reach Cozumel in time and the only solution was to come back the next day (we come from Europe on purpose, so this was not a solution, since the entire holidays were planned and scheduled). Everything seemed impossible to resolve until (amazingly), they told us that they could solve everything if we paid USD350 more (on top of the fee already paid). In order to avoid missing the lifetime experience, we had to agree to the blackmail, but this was not the worst part.
Once in Cozumel, the PADI centre (which, by the way, was a subcontractor of Tulum Diving & Travel) was everything but professional, the equipment was defective and nobody requested our PADI license. All in all, an awful experience which has not ended because we are preparing the legal claim.
Probably they will answer with some lies. The hotel that recommended Tulum Diving & Travel knows this is true, they refunded us the commission for this trip and apologized for it, and promised that they will never recommend these pirates again (hope they comply). – via
Somos Marc, Ana y Lola…
No pudimos haber elegido mejor!
– via
Had a wonderful half day tour Cenotes and snorkelling tour with Alvaro. Gave us a great insight into the local community and it’s history – via Google
Our trip to Chichen Itza, cenote Oxman, and Valladolid was unbelievable! Our guide Alvaro was knowledgeable and such a pleasure to spend the day with. The food that we had for lunch was delicious and authentic. Alvaro took us to a local lunch spot that we would have never been able to find on our own. We felt safe and relaxed for our entire 10hr day, and we learned so much about the complex and beautiful culture of the Yucatán peninsula. – via Google
Kristen was wonderful. Nice, friendly, engaging, and an excellent guide. It’s been a dream to be able to dive in Caribbean and Kristen made it the best experience I could have. – via Google
We had an amazing time visiting Casa Cenote and Sac actun Cenote with the diving & travel team

Overall, cannot recommend Tulum Diving & Travel enough – get Al as your driver and you’re in for a great day on this tour.
We (my friend and I) did the Chicken Itza + Cenote + Valladolid tour with lunch in April 2022 just before Easter. We had Al (Alvaro) as our driver who picked us up from our Tulum hotel and he showed us the sights. What an amazing day! The sites aside, Al was friendly and knowledgeable. Importantly we felt he was a very safe and considerate driver. We were grateful that he flexed the tour to accommodate a particular cenote we wanted to visit, and that he was very considerate of and sensitive to our issues with a stomach bug we’d picked up before doing the tour. Lunch was excellent and was the first proper meal we’d had in 2 days – he’d found a really authentic little place which was the best meal we had during our 8 day trip. It was a pleasure being taken to these amazing sites by Al. Oh and also he took some great photos for us too! – via Google
