I would give this amazing crew 10 stars if I could!!!!!
Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE at this facility was just so nice, kind, helpful, positive and bubbly. I would skydive here again just to talk with Ben some more! The plane was clean and sturdy, the instructions were clear and concise, the staff was confident, well informed, and communicated every detail every step of the way.
Rod took me on my jump, and he was an amazing guide; pointing out all the local landmarks and giving fun facts about the landscape as we floated down.

My amazing camerawoman, forgive me for forgetting her name! She was so helpful in coaching me for the best shots for my video.

This was truly a great experience, and I recommend it to YOU and everyone Else interested in a sky adventure in New Zealand. If you weren’t sure where to book, THIS IS YOUR SIGN!!! – via

I will just share my experience with the staff because I didn’t jump unfortunately

I’m jump on my own and I came with a friend who would like to do tandem. I spoke with a guy by mail to come to jump, and he told me to come when I want, but it’s better on the week end. I told him that I will come on Sunday at 9am. Unfortunately we were late, and show up at 9:45.

When we came we spoke with Ben, the guy at the desk and he is amazing. He call the manager, Patrick to check with him for my jump. And Patrick was like « you are late, you’ll say your will come at 8 »
I apologize and he ask for my logbook but didn’t check it and just told me « Its all organize now, just wait, maybe it will possible to jump in an hour, maybe not » and look like upset.
After one hour and half of waiting he didn’t come to speak to us, and just ignore us. After this time, Ben, the guy at the desk come to check with us whats happen and was very kind.
Unfortunately after all these I quit with my friend.

So for my experience I can say that the guy at the desk is amazing and was very kind! I hope he will complete his AFF fast. But in the other hand I has a bad experience with Patrick and will just jump in another DZ. – via

This morning I was so..so SO fortunate to be able to Skydive with Skydive Abel Tasman.

I cannot say enough good things about this place, Jo (I believe her name was) on the front desk was absolutely lovely and very helpful and helped me decide what jump package and media package I would want.

On the day of the jump. The ground crew who got me fitted and prepared had an awesome Kiwi sense of humor, and helped ease any nerves or questions we had.

The Jump. I had (Damian/Damo) who was HIGHLYYY experienced at jumping. He made me feel extremely safe, prioritized my wellbeing and enjoyment.

The prices are a little steep, especially for the media package (when they film you) which can cost more than the jump itself. However for the memories and experiences gained, I would say its worth it!

I highly enjoyed my first jump here, and I can say I will be back in the future!!! – via

Ein Superteam, hier bist du in den allerbesten Händen vom Empfang bis zum Sprung sind alle superherzlich und hochprofessionell. Das war so klasse, dass ich direkt noch einen zweiten Sprung inklusive Film gebucht habe. Ich habe nichts davon bereut. Die Filme und Fotos waren in weniger als 12 Stunden bei mir, Danke Anthony. Thanks to the amazing team at Skydive Abel Tasman. I jumped from 16500 ft recently and it was the most thrilling experience ever. I was so well looked after throughout, greeted with huge smiles from Ben and Jo at the front desk during check-in, whose friendly demeanor helped calm my first-timer nerves.

Big thanks to my tandem master on the day, the ultimate professional who epitomized coolness and total control. I couldn’t have been in better hands! It was the most exhilarating mind blowing experience. As soon as we landed down I wanted to go straight back up and do it again. And what’s more, the occasion was topped off with fantastic high quality video and photo footage captured by the photographer who jumped alongside helping me to memorialize this truly epic event. Best purchase I have ever made. Highly recommend! – via

I couldn’t possibly say enough good things about this company but here it goes!

We had a skydive booked in Franz Josef but we couldn’t go due to the weather so we rebooked for Abel Tasman.. terrified is not the word I could use to describe how I felt those 4 days before my skydive and I was praying for bad weather on the morning of my jump so that it would be cancelled and I could chicken out for good. Well, that is not what happened at all! I woke up to blue skies and sunshine and knew that the day had finally come when I was going to jump out of an airplane (WHAT?!)

When we arrived in Skydive Abel Tasman we were greeted with two lovely lovely people on the front desk (Ben and Jo I think there names are? My brain is a blur after the intensity of all the fear emotions). They were SO NICE and made me feel more at ease about the crazy thing that I was about to do. We had a short wait from arriving to putting on our super stylish jumpsuits and getting harnessed up. I was super scared at this stage and really was considering backing out. My tandem master was Will and he was so chilled out and answered any (ridiculous) questions I had. I say ridiculous because they were so irrational and just -never going to happen- situations that I’m laughing at myself now ??

The ride in the plane was great for the first 2 minutes and then everyone starts talking about reaching altitude and 2 minutes to jumping. Can’t describe how terrified I was but the whole team are just so cool and chilled that I really trusted them all fully with my life!
