Skybanditz kiteboarding school is hands down the best in Puerto Rico, having tried another school on the first day of the trip, Skybanditz demonstrated a level of experience, expertise and technicality of kiteboarding that I have not experienced before. I have had lessons in Costa Rica, Mexico and Miami and Skybanditz was by far the best instruction I have received and I was able to progress very quickly. Francisco, instructor, has a wealth of experience and comes highly recommended from other experienced kite-boarders that I trust. You are in good and safe hands with Skybanditz. – via Google

Francisco was a phenomenal instructor! Intro 3 hr lesson was a ton of fun, I learned a lot and he was really good at matching whatever pace you want to progress at (e.g., do you want to practice on land more first or do in the water etc). He gets in the water with you which I appreciated/made some things easier to explain I think compared to some of the other schools which teach you over radio.

Definitely Francisco is a professional and excellent person. He was full of energy during the hole lesson and I could say he helped me actually more than my instructor in Buenos Aires. It was an amazing experience! Awsom kite boarding coach!!!!!!
We understood in our 3 hour course with him what we did not understand before.
He fastly figured out on which level we sand and helped us to develop.
The coach swims with you in the water for us that was way better than the radio instruction from other schools.
The lesson is definitely worth the money.
And we gained a lot out of it.
He was really enthusiastic to get us on the board, (fist time really stading 🙂

Great kitesurfing experience!
I was looking for a place to rent kite gear for a couple of hours, and most schools only wanted to offer me kite lessons for exorbitant prices. Luckily, Francisco from Kitebanditz made it very easy to rent equipment on an hourly basis. I texted Francisco the night before, he was very responsive, and the next day, he prepared all the kite gear. He had my sizes in stock and the kite perfectly set up. He helped me launch the kite and guided me towards the water. I had an excellent kiting experience in a beautiful spot with great wind conditions. After my session, I left the kite with Franciso, and he provided some free advice on kiteboarding techniques. We checked how many hours I stayed in the water and then paid accordingly.

I’m an experienced kiter who was looking to improve on my air rotations and kite control. Francisco not only gave me the tools to jump higher, he broke down the fundamentals in order for me to better understand the entire ‘setting your edge’ process. Francisco is by far the most knowledgeable and experienced kiter at Ocean Park and I cannot be more happy with our lesson. Not only is he patient and clear with instruction, he absolutely RIPS while in the water. I highly recommend Skybanditz not only for beginners wanting to get into the sport, but also for those looking to improve on their current skills. I can’t speak more highly of Francisco and the Skybanditz team, and am already planning my next lesson to further my kiteboarding abilities.

Got a recommendation from my surf instructor and was definitely worth it. Francisco is a very friendly and attentive coach. The classes were very entertaining and at the same just challenging enough.
Glad i didn’t go with the other mainstream schools – one time the wind was weak, all the students from other schools were waiting while we were with the kite in the air!
