Martin from Scuba IQ helped us plan our time here in Port Douglas. After we had booked our trips he also helped us to find a lovely restaurant for NYE.
First we went on a day trip and we were both diving and snorkeling on the reef. We went diving with Michael who was very professional, kind, helpful and funny!
The next day we went on a half day snorkeling trip to Low Isles – also a great day and we saw turtles!!

As an AOW diver with a partner who is just beginning to experience diving, this was the perfect team to dive with. Our Dive Master Jorg not only was very experienced, he had a calm engaging personality that kept my partner at ease to get the most out of our dives.
You could go with a larger crew and get lost in the crowd, but with Scuba IQ you’ll have the best guides to give you the personalised experience to find Nemo if that’s what you’re after, or get close and personal with something with a few more teeth

The best on the reef!
There are many dive operators to choose from in Cairns and Port Douglas, but not many offer the level of service and attentiveness of Scuba IQ.
I’m a dive instructor so for me to trust someone to take my wife diving was a huge thing. I’d seen Martin operate when I worked in Port Douglas and I knew instantly I made the right choice.
His personal touch, attentiveness to his clients and knowledge of the reef is unrivalled. I felt like my wife was in exceptionally safe hands and didnt feel like part of a production line some of the larger dive operations feel like.
His easy going nature put my wife at ease and soothed her nerves which meant she had an amazing discover dive experience.
For those in Cairns, it’s worth the drive up to get the best experience on offer with the personal touches and enjoy the extra level of a personalised experience.
I would happily recommend Martin and his team to anyone travelling to FNQ for a dive experience!
