We deden deze fietstocht van ongeveer 5 uur op onze eerste dag in Brazilië. Wat een fantastische manier om Rio te leren kennen. Onze fietsgids, Douglas kon ons veel boeiende info geven, was héél geduldig en toonde ons leuke plaatsen en gaf goeie tips. Hier hebben we onze eerste, superlekkere en spotgoedkope caipirinha gedronken. Een grote aanrader!! – via

Jan Willem is een geweldige gids voor je om Rio te ontdekken. Via een mooie fietstocht van vier uur met mijn drie kinderen, langs Copacobana en door de wijken Botafogo, Flamgo, het oude centrum en het uitgaansgebied Lapa. Inclusief mooie foto’s met als achtergrond de suikerberg en de gekleurde trappen. En fijn tips voor restaurant en salsafeestje in avond. Hij heeft zelfs kaartjes voor wedstrijd van Flamengo geregeld; topdag gehad! – via

Rio By Bike owner was accommodating to making a tour in English work for us. Very responsive via WhatsApp. Marco was a good guide. Very knowledgeable about sights and life in Rio as well as generally being well read. He took the time to answer all of our questions about daily life there, customs, etc. Biking was a great way to cover a lot of ground on a very hot day. Recommend doing a tour like this early on, in your visit to get the lay of the land. – via
