We went on the Quicksilver Outer Barrier Reef from Port Douglas. Our trip had approximately 200 people. That was geeat and with this large catamaran we didn’t feel crowded. They motor us out to a large activity platform which takes about 1 1/2 hours. This platform is on a small section of the Barrier Reef. On this platform they served us a hot & cold meal buffet style which was great.
The platform options included in our ticket price was lunch, snorkeling & gear, submersible sub (25 min). There were other options for a fee. Their attention to safety was spot on. This was a great trip and a reasonably priced tour, which we booked last minute. We would highly recommend this tour

We had a very enjoyable day snorkeling the reefs were outstanding the Great Barrier Reef was beautiful. We did a submersible tour which was fantastic looking at the coral and saw large turtles and various species of fish. The activity platforms were spacious where we could relax and eat and enjoy our day. The crew were accommodating making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed or wanted to make our trip enjoyable. I definitely would recommend this excursion. – via

Best way to see the Great Barrier Reef!
As a not-so-confident swimmer and a first-time snorkeler, I was a bit nervous, but the safety briefing put me at ease right away. They provide everything you need, including swimwear and snorkeling equipment.
– Seating: You can sit wherever you want on the boat. We enjoyed the view from the upper deck and later moved inside to avoid the sun. Seating is first come, first serve. The complimentary teas and coffees upon arrival were a nice touch.
– Friendly Staff: All the staff were super friendly, although I regret not remembering their names.
– Tips: You get a few hours at the Great Barrier Reef, and it’s packed with activities! Snorkeling, a submarine ride (15-20 min), a fish feeding demonstration, and lunch are all included. I recommend doing it all and not missing out. Make the most of your time there, especially with unlimited snorkeling opportunities.
Overall, it was an amazing experience, and I highly recommend it to everyone! – via

My family and I did a Great Barrier Reef experience where we took a helicopter tour with Nautilus Aviation (who partners with Quicksilver) onto the Quicksilver pontoon in Agincourt Reef (Great Barrier Reef) then took the Quicksilver cruise boat back to Port Douglas.
The pontoon was great! Very spacious yet highly functional. Got to have a ride inside the submarine, with viewing windows all along both sides. Then we snorkelled in the designated snorkelling area. There was a buffet available onboard with drinks available for additional purchase onboard the boat.
We then took the Quicksilver cruise boat back to Port Douglas. The boat trip was so smooth (highly recommend if worried about seasickness). Plus the crew were very friendly and helpful. They even had a marine biologist onboard who could answer any queries regarding your Great Barrier Reef experience. Best way to have an immersive experience on the Great Barrier Reef. Highly recommend. – via

We took the ride on the Subsonic.
Small boat, almost no shade on the outside, inside is way too cold (airconditioning!)
Food was good.
Snorkeling area is a very small area. Very dissapointing.
Semi-sub: The windows need cleaning.
No Glas-Boat avaiable
Had a trip with Ocean Spirit from Cairns. That was a whole other level. Plenty of shade, resting area to lay down, big snorkeling area, glassboat. – via

A perfect example of how using a GOOD local agent can outweigh any of the big Highstreet names and Solicitor firms. By instructing Niall McCabe to sell our house, we achieved around £80,000 (20%) more than what other agents were estimating the value to be.
Niall’s local knowledge on the demand of individual streets and market trends has sold our house for vastly more than expected and we are thrilled with what he has managed to do for us. This level of detail and information just isn’t feasible for corporate agents.
The process was faultless from start to finish with great communication, continuous updates from the team and a quick sale achieved following some excellent negotiation from Niall. We conducted our own viewings however the team always offered to carry these out on our behalf.
I have several years experience in the property industry and can wholeheartedly say that Niall McCabe is the standout option for property sales in West Lothian.

Niall McCabe from Property Connections was invaluable in the sale of my Tenement Flat in Glasgow. I no longer live in the UK, so all our communication was done via email. Niall made sure I always had up to date communication on the latest developments, from viewings, to marketing, to communication with potential buyers.
The quality of marketing for my property was top class. My property was inherited after the unfortunate death of my father. It had not been decorated for decades and was in need of TLC. Niall still succeeded in showing the potential of the period features, in the marketing photo’s and in the possibilites for potential buyers, through descriptions in his text. There were many options on how best to market the property, including 3D walkthroughs.
Even though we had a buyer pull out of the sale right at the last second, Niall immediately sprung into action and had showing after showing lined up almost immediately.
The professionalism, friendliness and sheer hard work from Niall, really impressed me and I would recommend that anyone who is selling their property, give him a call and have him sell your property. Thank you Niall. – via

Kevin and his team are LEGENDS!!!! no argument. Kevin’s commitment to customer service is refreshing in a day and age where customers are fobbed off for profit. If you are new to the diving scene then check out ALL of Kevin’s informative video’s and product reviews, which will give all the insight you need to make an informed decision as to which gear is best suited for you. If I could give more stars I would. – via
