Great experience! Luis was our captain and made it such a smooth ride! Clarity wasn’t great but Freddy went above and beyond to make sure we saw sea life! We saw a turtle AND an octopus. Highly recommend this tour. – via Google

Not a great experience for us. Went on the 8pm tour. The lagoon is quite congested with multiple groups kayaking. Once out in the bay, we had to link up with all the other kayakers and put a wet tarp over our heads to try and see the limited bioluminescence for about 5 minutes. The bioluminescence was very limited due to environmental factors that have been ongoing and cloud coverage that night. They told us to splash paddles in water to activate the bit that was there, but we were linked together so close there was no way to get more than a hand in the water. As we were kayaking through the mangroves to and from the bay, one of the guides sang a one man karaoke show at the top of his lungs the whole way. It’s a shame, because there are a lot of natural sounds of coquis (frogs) and water fowl that could be appreciated while kayaking.
I did give an extra star because Jessica through the office was helpful with her communication. Our initial tour that was booked with transportation from San Juan several weeks before our departure was cancelled 6 hrs prior to departure due to lack of participants needing transportation. She was able to rebook us 3 days later.
I understand that companies need to stay afloat and pay employees. I just wish they were a little more open and honest with us about the experience (as in you will have a plastic tarp over the group to see for 5 minutes). – via Google

We had booked for a afternoon Snorkeling trip to Vieques but it was cancelled by Pure Adventures due to weather. They did a great job of texting us few hours in advance and offered the same trip for next morning. The staff are generally super responsive via text.
Regarding the excursion, after departure from Ceiba we reached a beach in Vieques in about 20 mins. The team let us try the snorkeling gear here and we stayed here for a few mins before departing to the actual snorkeling location. The crew did not have flippers that would fit my 8 year old daughter. I was disappointed since it would be exhausting for her to be kicking for 30 mins without flippers. I had expressed my disappointment to the team and mentioned that we would have brought our own flippers from home had the company told us in advance. Anyway, I was looking to move past it and take ot as it comes. To my surprise, the team offered to tow my daughter along and Juan helped her out. I have mixed feelngs because we were so excited for her to put her snorkel practice to use for the first time and bummed that she didn’t get to do on her own. At the same time, we are happy that Juan was there to help us out the entire snorkel trip.
We saw a few turtles, one sting ray and some fish. We enjoined the trip overall and will highly recommend this company. – via Google

The experience was great enjoyed the Bio bay
We took the kayaking experience at bio bay, But the crew were pushing more on us to paddle quickly it’s our first kayaking and had no experience kayaking before
