Wonderful experience. Capt. Geo and his crew were professional, safety first and fun! We were looking for an extended time on water and this was one of the few we could find. More time at beach and snorkeling than cruising, but all were nice. Crew made everyone feel welcome and food and drinks were good. Appreciated the included ride from San Juan. – via
Probably the best LGBTQ & naturist friendly beach I’ve ever been to. Pristine, clean, soft golden sand, clear and calm turquoise water, plenty of wildlife, and amazing views of the mountains in the background. If you are looking for the nude beach (and mostly gay beach) turn left and keep walking until just before the governor’s mansion. I posed a photo showing the mansion peaking out from the foliage, directly left is the nude/gay beach. There are police officers stationed at the mansion and they sometimes will walk by. Just keep a towel handy and they wont give you trouble. On the weekend the gay/nude section can be more of a party atmosphere whereas it’s very quiet and peaceful on the weekdays so choose your own adventure. – via
If you like the jungle vibe, this resort is for you.
We adored our stay here. The grounds are beautiful and emphasize nature. The staff starting with George and everyone else was absolutely lovely and accomodating. The food was excellent. The pool is heated.
The bungalo we stayed in is rustic, but well equipped with a kitchen. We like it, but it might not be everybody’s thing to be surrounded by nature 🙂
We loved the activities. On Friday we had a salsa lesson. Each morning there was yoga with a gorgeous view, and we went for a horse ride on the beach and drove the complimentary golf cart to town one afternoon. We only wish we could have stayed longer to go on the whale watching boat and get a massage.
The one thing we didn’t like is that the taxi they called for us to take us to the airport insisted on charging us double (1000 peso) what the Uber taxi we took from the airport charged.
Overall we were super happy. It was a good value for the price considering all the amenities and activities. Definitely recommended for the nature lovers. We hope to come again. – via
We wanted to take breakfast so that we could learn about the place and during our next trip, we could consider staying at this hotel. Hostess didn’t allow us, arguing that the place was full. She didn’t offer any alternative to later know it. Definitely, was not the expected service. I will not plan on staying on this place, nor to recommend it. – via
Stayed 5 nights. Beautiful resort. Amazing service- the staff were incredible. Great pools. Food was good, we enjoyed the breakfast and lunch menus the most, lots of meat, seafood & vegetarian/vegan options. It’s great they just add everything onto your room so you don’t need to carry around cash/cards – very convenient. The sheets, towels, and rooms were cleaned everyday which is definitely a huge plus! Pool towels always around the pools. Our room was always the perfect temperature- never hot & never too cold. Enjoyed the attention to detail & artistic touches around the resort and in the room. Our room was in the jungle, so there’s animals & dampness but that was the fun of it! It’s a different & luxurious place to stay & definitely made our vacation special! Highly recommend. – via
