What a Great Experience and an Awesome Crew! All the crew were very attentive, asking if we needed anything or had any questions. Their safety protocol was spot on. We went to two different locations to dive and snorkel and saw such great coral & fish. Phoebe, one of the crew, was great to explain what we were seeing in the water. Our lunch served, cold & warm, was wonderful. We would highly recommend this tour.

We had the greatest time on Passion of Paradise 3. Phoebe was such a great tour guide and host as we were snorkeling in the Great Barrier Reef I just wish I could remember everything she was explaining to me she had such a passion for the reef and respect for the reef. I loved how she enjoyed her job making us so comfortable and at ease. Darcy our captain was so friendly explained where we were heading and what he was watching for to make our journey safely. To tell the truth every crew member were outstanding making the excursion one of the most memorable one I’ve been on!! – via google

We had a very good experience with Passions of Paradise on our recent diving excursion to the Great Barrier Reef in Cairns. The attention to detail was exceptional, the boat was clean and new, and the organization was excellent. It was satisfying to discover that the excursion was not overcrowded, allowing for a more personalized experience. Throughout the trip, we were accompanied by Gonzalo, who was very attentive and knowledgeable about marine life and the environment. We highly recommend this experience to anyone looking to explore the wonders of the Great Barrier Reef. – via google

Had Drew as a diving instructor. He was fantastic with a perfect balance of professionalism along with a sense of humour. I felt uneasy with the diving but I really did not want to cut my experience short. Drew helped me overcome my fear and enjoy the experience, without feeling pressured too much.

10/10 – the day trip left a highlight for our entire Australian experience, thank you very much! – via google

This company is amazing and i know there’s alot to choose from but they are so organized and friendly and energetic and really make you more and more comfortable and excited for the entire excursion. This is the perfect example of how the people and staff really make the company what it is- every single person on board was so kind and helpful and comforting and informative.
Really had the best day and not only was it a great experience but i also could feel how much everyone on board really cared for and valued the reef. I didnt think id enjoy the presentation afterwards but it was incredibly informative and engaging and really makes you stop and think. Everyone was so kind.
We LOVED Hannah- she’s one of the marine biologists on board she gave us a tour while we were snorkelling and showed and taught us so much along the way.
Eric ( I hope im remembering correctly- from the UK) was a FANTASTIC scuba diver and instructor- he really made you feel safe and comfortable and was absolutely hilarious!

Really would reccomend this company. – via google

A quick question for the chef: where were the chocolate cubes served at the end of the cruise sourced from?! 🙂 – via google

5.0/ 5

Incredible tour! I’m so glad I did my GBR tour with Passions. They had plenty of helpful crew on board who knew everything about the reef, diving etc! Really well organised for 90 people on board (it really didn’t feel like this many people were on the boat, more like 30.) If you’re thinking of doing your intro dive with them, definitely do it. I had the best experience! Greeted onboard with fresh fruit, tea, coffee, informative dive briefing, great reef selection, great healthy lunch with vegetarian options, the opportunity to add on a cheaper second dive at another reef, marine biologist on board to tell you more about the science of reefs. Wow, so much more than I expected! 100% recommend! – via google

I had the best experience! Definitely book with Passions of Paradise. The boat was well kept and clean. There was plenty of room for everyone to relax. It was my first time heading to the Great Barrier Reef, and Passions of Paradise was referred to me by a friend. The crew were fun and knowledgeable! I tried scuba diving for the first time, and although initially scared, Erin, my instructor, put my mind at ease. I also snorkled at both reefs we visited that day. I’ll be back! Ensure you leave 24-48 hours from plane flights. Sunscreen, motion sickness tablets (and spare) are a must. I enjoyed the food cooked by their chef. The eco talk on the way back to Cairns raised my awareness and made me want to do more. Experiencing the great barrier reef was a dream come true. I highly recommend them. Huge thank you to their crew! – via google

1.0/ 5

I do not understand the high ratings of this company. Fake? It is the worst boat tour I’ve ever been on. From the moment we got on the boat we were overwhelmed by how crowded it was. The main floor was packed with large parties. It smelled like the zoo… The upper deck was full too, but we managed to find some seats… Coffee wasn’t ready for a while and even though they’ll tell you to stay hydrated, you can only get water from tiny little mouthwash cups and it didn’t taste good. Wish we brought our own water and towels… Soft drinks, canned water (so “woke” ) are extra… You know what’s woke? Providing bottled water to people on a boat tour! Especially if “tropical” lunch buffet is included! Tell people to bring their own water, be transparent! The worst part was the diving. What a disorganized charlie foxtrot that was! I was in diving group 3 (so you have to keep an eye on the boat while you snorkel and not miss your group). One very nice person helped me put the gear on, then it turned out that he is not my diving instructor. Nobody practiced equalizing with me before jumping in the water. I didn’t even know who is my diving instructor till I was in the water and I had to ask them because I was confused! So I’m understandably nervous going on my first dive and they are disorganized and rude. “Stand back, you’re in a different group!” Ok, I’ll stand and wait after you told me to get up with a very heavy oxygen tank… They treated me like dumb cattle. I couldn’t understand what the other diving instructor was saying in the water and she was very condescending (blond, turquoise suit). “What are trying to do, darling?!” Instead of giving me clear instructions! Then, in the water, they make you hold the instructor’s hand throughout the whole dive like it’s kindergarten. And he had a giant wart on his knuckle. (Those are contagious, it’s hpv, have it removed, you live in a civilized country and work in service industry). Dive was short and sweet with not much to see. Our dive instructor thought we should be excited we saw “Nemo.” I’ve snorkeled all over the world and expected more. Really is a sad state of affairs with The Great Barrier Reef or they don’t take tourists to good places… So not worth a 2 hour journey there and back. Food was ok, liked the beet salad. But it was not a tropical buffet. Curry, beef stew, coleslaw and beet salad do not make a tropical buffet. The tiny pieces of fudge they served in the afternoon one could only eat with dirty hands after touching the railings all day… So not a very healthy way to serve food. But they say they are concerned about covid… Probably the same way they are concerned about guests staying hydrated with those tiny little moushwash cups. Nothing but lip service. Anyway, it was very overcrowded, conveyer belt like experience. Staff was assertive, but rude, with very little f#%s given. “Get ‘em in, get ‘em out” type of service. I’m sure they’ll have a full catamaran tomorrow! A boat full of suckers is born every day! – via google
