We loved the Gold Trail Tour with Paraty Explorer! Our guide Michael was brill – we learnt a lot at a nice pace down the trail. It was great to end the trail with a dip in a stunning waterfall, lunch at a typical buffet and visit to a cachaça distillery. Highly recommend if you want to learn about the history of Brazil and the area, as well as taking in the beautiful scenery. – via

Excelente tour, recomendo 100%. O tour foi super organizado, rápido pra marcar o dia, o nossa guia falava inglês excelente e sabia bastante sobre a história de Paraty. O local de almoço e comida maravilhosos. Recomendamos levar bastante água se estiver muito calor. – via

We had a morning where we were amazed.
Discovery of the small surrounding islands and a short swimming break on a magnificent private beach.
Discovery of the mangrove, a place when we enter it, transports us to another universe.
Julian, our guide, is a true lover of this paradise and we understand why. Thanks to him who introduced us to local specialties after the activity.
A real favorite.

The sea kayaks are waiting for us on the beach. The welcome is simple and warm. Here we are launched onto a blue-green sea among flying fish. Juliano accompanies us that day. He knows his subject, he loves his country, he tells with passion the history and geography of the place. We cross the narrow channels of a mangrove, we slide between water and forest. (Translated by Google) I had the pleasure of participating in an excursion to Pico do Pão de Açúcar – Mamanguá with Paraty Explorer. Michael is a great and professional guide, sharing historical, cultural and environmental knowledge throughout the tour.
The tour was done by speedboat leaving from Cais de Paraty (Centro) towards Saco do Mamanguá, followed by a walk along the beach before taking the main trail to reach the peak.
The trail through the Atlantic Forest and the view are incredible and the boat ride to get there is definitely worth it!!

Tive o prazer de participar de uma excursão ao Pico do Pão de Açúcar – Mamanguá com a Paraty Explorer. Michael é um ótimo guia e profissional, compartilhando conhecimentos históricos, culturais e ambientais durante todo o percurso do passeio.
O Passeio foi feito com lancha saindo do Cais de Paraty (Centro) em direção ao Saco do Mamanguá, seguido de caminhada pela praia antes de fazer a trilha principal para chegar ao pico.
A trilha pela Mata Atlântica e vista são incríveis e o passeio de barco para chegar lá com certeza vale a pena!! – via

We did 2 fantastic tours with Paraty explorer! Our trek to the Melencia falls was incredible and was almost like a private guided tour as it was just the 2 of us. Micheal (the guide) very knowledgeable about the Atlantic forest and we enjoyed the whole day. Would 100% recommend trips with them. Micheal is a native brit as well which was great when he was explaining about the forest. – via

We climbed the saco de mamangua sugarloaf with Michael and Giuliano from Paraty explorers, and it was really an amazing day. Michael and Giuliano shared experiences and interesting information with us and made this a wonderful experience. The view from the top of the sugarloaf is breathtaking, and the village down the hill is a hidden paradise.
Before that we made a visit of Paraty historic center with Rodrigo, very interesting and friendly experience as well.

We did the Kayak tour with Michael. I would definitely recommend it. Michael is very nice and experienced and you will really enjoy this tour “out of the standard touristy paths”. Michael is also very helpful for setting up other activities in the area. You can trust him for making the best of your stay in Paraty. – via
