We just spent three days skiing under excellent conditions. We stayed in the Mountain Club, which was exceptionally convenient for skiing. However, the “country store” is pathetic. We went there on a Sunday and they had no bread, eggs, or coffee. I have never seen such a poorly provisioned store. So if you are going to stay in a unit with a kitchenette, be sure to bring all your food with you. – via

Kirkwood is a great resort but it gets super impacted on the weekends. The mountain is great though once you get above the general rabble. – via
