Such a great experience! My whole family took lessons this week and I would absolutely recommend Alfred and his team. My husband and I are beginners with some experience but our kids have never surfed before, by the end of our trip both kids were popping up and genuinely enjoying surfing. My husband and I also felt like we made so much progress in just a few days with Alfred. The instructors our kids had managed to perfectly strike the difficult balance between being empathetic and pushing the kids, I can’t stress how hard that is to do especially with kids you’ve just met and I was so impressed by it. On our trip home both kids told me how much they were going to miss Sammy and Jasmine. – via google

Alfred and Sam were fantastic with our three children (ages 15, 13, and 13)! They took the time to fully explain and demonstrate everything before they went into the water and patiently continued to work with the kids while in the water. The kids were able to get up onto the surf boards very quickly! We appreciate their friendliness and patience with the kids. – via google

My husband and I took lessons with Alfred and Sam this morning. I was a complete beginner while my husband was an advanced beginner. Alfred did an amazing job giving us a brief overview of the fundamentals and getting us out on the water to practice ! He made me feel very comfortable and was an extremely skilled instructor. Any time I come back to pr I will definitely reach out to Alfred to further my surfing skills. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! – via google

Reached out to Alfred weeks before we came to Isabela. Found him on the beach the day we arrived and set up a lesson for the next morning. Showed up for lesson and Alfred never showed. Called, texted. Nothing. Later that day reached out to him and he apologized for the “miscommunication”. Said he would call early next morning to go out then, but never called. Left us scrambling for lessons. Gave him the benefit of the doubt the first time he no showed, but had enough when he blew us off the next day. Just blown away by how unprofessional this was. – via google

The surf lessons with the Jobos Surf Venture House crew was the absolute highlight of our visit to Puerto Rico. Jen made coordinating the multiple lessons smooth and easy. Alfred, Sammy and Hector were super fun and really great instructors for the adults and the kids. Can’t thank you all enough. Wonderful people offering an amazing adventure.
