Julia was great! I was lucky to have a 1:1 snorkel tour last weekend. Right off the bat, we saw 11 turtles at a gorgeous green sand beach. Saw plenty of fish there, then stopped at another great swim spot afterward. She also gave me quite a few good recommendations for food and things to do nearby afterward. – via

I am very impressed with this place. My wife and I stopped by to get stocked up on some snorkel gear and the lady’s and gentlemen at Hilo Ocean Adventures hooked us up. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and made the experience excellent. I managed to purchase a set of fins that were too small and figured it out after I went snorkeling.

There are no returns allowed normally but the friendly staff found a pair of fins that fit perfectly when I returned, took the old ones back and offered me a generous discount. If you are considering using them I strongly suggest it. – via

A few nice staff members -Marcy I believe was very helpful- but their lack of any common sense in return policy and ridiculously high prices for products, rather than services, brought this rating. I bought these snorkeling fins and when I got back to my bike – I was bikepacking and setting up my bike in a nearby hotel- they were way too big. So just a few hours later I came back -same bag, unused- and another employee would not give me money back or even credit towards an exchange for higher priced product… way overpriced fins. – via

My family of four booked a scuba diving training and had a wonderful time. This was our very first time in anything scuba and our instructor, Forrest, was amazing. Forrest was so patient with us and as a result gave us the confidence to continue scuba diving and hopefully one day be completely scuba certified. God bless you all. I wholeheartedly recommend this business. We will definitely come back when we visit Hilo again. – via
