Bad experience due to bad communication from organisers.
Due to not having dived for over 6 months I was told only as I was embarking the boat that I wouldn’t be able to dive with the rest of the clients and I would have to do training dives instead which was a big waste of time. Had they been clear from the start I wouldn’t have gone with them and used my day in a more productive way instead of waiting underwater doing absolutely nothing. Organisers forced me to join them as they wouldn’t let me go back to pickup my things that were locked at the center and made me pay full price for a completely wasted day. Unfortunate use of my vacation days – via
We were there the first week of August and did 3 dives, baixa da maia, baia do cura and baixa do Ambrósio.
Azores, especially the island of Santa Maria, is a privileged place for diving but if you also have such a fantastic team of people like Haliotis (Flavia, William…) nothing can go wrong! We were very lucky, we saw dolphins on the way to the dives, devil manta rays, whale sharks!!
The club equipment is in good condition, between dives they offer you melon, sweet bread, etc.
We had a great time! Many thanks for everything???? – via
