Updating in progress, which detracted from a nice island. The amenities require updating urgently. The reception staff (some) seem disinterested or unhelpful and not trained enough.
No sign on gents toilet (till day 6), ladies toilet had one (out of two) out of service the whole week with the other toilet having no seat until I complained two days in a row.
Water sports equipment needs updating unless you want to pay for the use of the good stuff.
More staff required on the Island. – via

With Eddiving I then found a diving school that competently conveyed the necessary skills.
This year I was even able to tackle the AOWD. However, there were very depressing buoyancy setbacks that almost made me give up. I am glad that I was encouraged to continue and finally pass the AOWD.
A year ago I would never have expected that I would ever do deep and night dives with dry suits in a Swiss lake at the age of 68 during the cold season!
And Edo was right: if you can do this, diving in the warm sea is easy.
Many thanks to the diving instructors from Eddiving for allowing me to get to know the wonderful underwater world.

Vor 2 Jahren hatte ich zufällig Gelegenheit an einem TryDive teilzunehmen. Das Erlebnis war so toll, dass ich danach unbedingt Tauchen lernen wollte.
Mit Eddiving hatte ich dann eine Tauchschule gefunden, welche das nötige Rüstzeug kompetent vermittelt.
Dieses Jahr konnte ich dann den sogar den AOWD in Angriff nehmen. Es gab jedoch sehr deprimierende Rückschläge bei der Tarierung welche mich beinahe haben aufgeben lassen. Ich bin froh dass ich ermuntert wurde, weiterzumachen und den AOWD schliesslich zu bestehen.
Noch vor einem Jahr hätte ich niemals erwartet dass ich jemals mit 68 Jahren Tief- und Nachttauchgänge mit Trocki in der kalten Jahreszeit in einem Schweizer See machen würde!
Und Edo hatte recht: wenn man dies kann, so ist das Tauchen im warmen Meer ein Leichtes.
Vielen Dank an die Tauchlehrer von Eddiving dass ihr mir ermöglicht habt, die wunderbare Unterwasserwelt kennenzulernen. – via

Vor 2 Jahren hatte ich zufällig Gelegenheit an einem TryDive teilzunehmen. Das Erlebnis war so toll, dass ich danach unbedingt Tauchen lernen wollte.

On the one hand, Eddo knows the Verzasca Valley perfectly, knows where the best dive sites are and also when to park the car where so that the equipment does not have to be carried far the next day.
The dives themselves were simply breathtaking and the visibility cannot be compared to any other place in Switzerland. At the dive site itself we were spoiled with drinks and fine delicacies from the grill.
The weekend was one of my big highlights last year. Thanks Eddo.

Freundliches Team, gut geführter Shop. Die Füllstation macht zuverlässig ihren Dienst und ist leicht zu erreichen. Vorallem der lange Schlauch ist genial wenn man seine Flaschen gerne direkt im Kofferraum befüllen möchte.
