I just spent 3 wonderful days in Hengchun at the Wonderocean Hostel.
Hostel: The most welcoming hostel I‘ve ever experienced in my life. The host, Sarah, included all the guests in activities, like dinners or a visit of the night market. And we even watched the final game of the world championship alltogether. Even though I‘m more 9000km away from Switzerland, I literally felt like home! Thank you so much!

And on top of this I went diving with Sarah. We visited two very nice divespots with plenty of things to see like turtles, octopus, barracudas and beautiful hard corals. Thanks again for this! – via

RENTERS BEWARE! These people WILL take advantage of you if you’re not from the Keys.
We went to rent dive gear to go out in the Gulf and wanted to give these guys business because they are veteran owned. It is true that no good deeds go unpunished because they charged us DOUBLE the amount the others places were charging and when we pressed them they assured us it was the going rate.
We went to other shops after renting this gear that indeed said we were ripped off.
Not only that, but the gear was absolutely awful. Busted BCDs and tank straps that didn’t hold.
Seriously, do not waste your time here but instead get your gear from literally anywhere else and make sure you do your research beforehand. Terrible! – via

went there to have my tank filled for my snuba system, the woman there doubted the legitimacy of snuba and said i needed my c card. Rather than giving me information on getting certified she became very nasty and told me they where in the business of selling gear not air and then refused service. All in all I was very turned off by the whole situation. – via

I can not say enough about this amazing store! Not only were they the only dive shop we could find open after five, their customer service was excellent!
This was our first time doing mini season and I was shocked you couldn’t find a dive store open after we got off the water the first day. Discount divers was not only open they were willing to stay as long as we needed them to, and didn’t make us feel like we were keeping them from getting off work.
Their prices were very competitive, but their customer service was worth every penny anyway!

Captain Ed and his crew will offer too quality snorkel and dive equipment at affordable prices. And if there is something we don’t carry they will offer a suggestion of places in Marathon that might be able to help . They are open 7 days a week from 8 AM. To 8 PM. They offer a good lineup of snorkels goggles and fins. For any divers they have Regulators BCS and air tanks for rent and for sale. Also able to provide air tank refills **NO NITROX AVAILABLE**
They have wet suits in a variety of sizes and thickness. They carry a full lineup of Footwear from simple Beach socks up to heavy duty safe soul booties. There is also apartments for rent with a two-day minimum and long-term rentals possible. – via
