We had our Salty Dawg Rendezvous, beach games and race here. The staff, services and resort were beautiful – A fun relaxing time with 20 Salty Dawg Boats and Crews had a wonderful weekend.
I personally have not been back since 2015 so it was great to see the place rebuilt after the Hurricane.
I want to say this resort/ Marina would be difficult if you struggle with mobility…there are stairs and different levels – they are presently expanding and building so this may change.
It’s designed with a lot of teak, nautical themes and natural landscape… I saw two there boathouse bungalows built presently built which added to the charm of the complex.
The reception and business area is located in front of the Marina, the staff is very friendly reception. Also located on the ground level are the shower rooms and bathrooms for the Marina. The second floor offers seating with great views, a perfect place for a small event with a bar and an area to serve appetizers.
There are two Bars open daily at the resort one in the up stairs restaurant as well as a boat bar on the beach.
There are two defined beach areas at one in front of the complex that has 10 lounges with umbrellas in front of the boat bar. A swim out platform for kids to play and a shallow swim area protected ( no lifeguard)
The second Beach has water sports which you can rent hobie 14’s, Paddle boards and kayaks. They have seating on top of the rental office building for watching a race, as well as a couple of hammocks on the beach.
Located on the upper level is a nice upscale gift shop and small market (ice is available for you Sailors) while inside fine coffee, wine and cold drinks upscale and goodies.
The Marina has slips with water and electric that can accommodate large Catamarans Monohulls and Mortor Yachts. SUPER Yacht can anchor in the large harbor. Moorings balls you can rented nightly through the yacht club. There is a nice dinghy dock. There are reserved and first come first served.
The resort has its own little ferry to take you between Saba Rock And Spanish Town – where larger ferry’s are available to see much of the BVI/ USVI – customs is onsite. – via
