These guys are great! Got my son’s open water check out with Sam who acted with a professional mix of encouragement, instruction, and pure joy upon completion. From the booking through our last dive everyone was amazing. Thanks to the captains, staff, and other dive masters on the boat for a chill, friendly atmosphere. This is exactly how a dive operation should run. – via google

My colleagues and I had a great time with April, Sam and Captain Colin. The team was knowledgeable, the equipment was great, the safety briefs and everything went smoothly. While only one manta showed up, this was still one of the most breathtaking experiences I’ve ever had. – via google

Best client service on the island. I wanted to dive with my husband and my father who don’t have any certification. They helped us find a solution so that we could dive together and share beautiful memories.
I contacted 4 different places and KDC is by far the best service. Really good communication to book the best option for our demands.
Plus, amazing dives, nice dive master/instructor
Thanks KDC! – via google

Blue Wilderness was great. Our dive master April was knowledgeable and upbeat, and Captain Colin recognized a significant issue with my recently serviced regulator and fixed it ON THE SPOT. A terrific morning of diving. Thank you. – via google

5.0/ 5

If you are considering a night manta snorkel, don’t hesitate to book with this business! They have smaller boats and take you outside of Puako, where much fewer people go. It is worth it! Not scary at all (in case you’re nervous). They get you all geared up with snorkel equipment and wet suits. A chill cruise on the way out, watching the sunset and spotting whales. Helpful and explanatory at the site. About 30-40 min in the water, which went by quickly. You’re basically just floating and holding onto a lit up surfboard, with the boat nearby. Crew (Capt Collin, Sam, Flipper) were knowledgeable and funny and clearly enjoyed their jobs. So glad we went with this company! – via google

2.0/ 5

My family of 5 went on the Manta Ray dive adventure in January 2023. There were NO manta rays that showed that night! Ok they have no control but still disappointing. Instead of refunding our $700+ they said we could come back anytime and that they would take care of us. Well, we came back again in January of 2024. It is an extremely busy time of year I get it but they NEVER returned my call. Finally, when I got them they showed NO interest in making good with what they said they would. “Sorry, we’re full” or “we could take 3 one night and the other 2 the next”. Well, who wants to do that? NOBODY on a family vacation! We decided to go in person to the store thinking that we’d get somewhere but were greeted with a VERY rude cashier/reservation person who was quick to say “Sorry you should have called us sooner”! (I did answer your phone!) and couldn’t have cared less!
BE CAREFUL when booking with this group! You won’t get your money back and the guarantee for another year is GARBAGE!! – via google

We did an evening manta dive with Blue Wilderness with our group of five, ranging from a new cert to my wife & I who dive a lot. The boat is no-frills, but that’s fine as it’s only about 20 minutes from the Puako ramp to Manta Point (by Mauna Kea Beach). We’ve done this dive before and it’s nice that the mantas get a nice healthy meal for their nighty performance. April, has a marine science degree, gave an informative lecture on cool manta facts. Our divemaster, Flipper, gave a thorough briefing for the dive, for which they set up lights to attract the plankton to bring in the Mantas. You’re given extra weights to keep you the sandy bottom for a half hour dive while the (half-dozen?) mantas zoom right at you and pull up to roll right over and loop around. Oh, and the cookies a great too, and you can also find them at the Puako general store. – via google

We did the night manta dive/snorkel – what an amazing experience, the mantas were doing barrel rolls right in front of us! Our group included two snorkelers that had never snorkeled before, and April was such a helpful and upbeat instructor; she put all of our nerves at ease. Would highly recommend! Delicious cookies at the end too. – via google

I did not actually get to dive with Blue Adventures, because like a true moron, I showed up to the boat the day before my scheduled dive. The management, and Shannon at the General Store/office were so accommodating and helpful regarding what was absolutely all my fault. Based on their understanding and professionalism, along with all of the terrific reviews from people who did actually dive with them- I recommend them wholeheartedly. – via google
