I was recommended this diving school by my friend and I don’t regret my choice at all. Carlos was our first contact and has been very understandable and flexible with our last minute date changes due to illness. It was my first experience diving and our instructor Mikel gave us all the tips and information we needed to dive safely and respectfully which made me feel 100% secure under water and enjoy scuba diving. He was professional and very friendly as all the other staff.

From walking in the door, getting information, to signing up for our open water classes, John is there every step of the way! We even took a trip to get our open water dives and Bull Shoals was amazing! Now as certified divers, he has trips to gear rental at very affordable prices. By far the best instructor in Illinois or the Midwest for that matter! If you want to dive go no where else in the Midwest for learning to trips!! Five stars no, 100 stars ✨️ ✨️ ✨️ ✨️ ✨️ – via google

After getting open water certified in Key Largo in 2015, I wanted to find a local dive shop to get involved with. After asking around and visiting, I decided on John and Aqua Diving School. He and his team are exactly what I was looking for. He knows the local/regional dive sites really well, but he can guide you around Roatan or Raja Ampat just as easily. I’ve been able to train and certify at a rhythm that suits me perfectly, and John is always willing to answer a question and quick to respond to my emails. If you’re a diver in central Illinois, this is where you want to be. – via google
