Wow! Superbe expérience de plongée en apnée avec les lamantins! L’équipe composée du capitaine John et du capitaine Bruce était vraiment parfaite.Je recommande de plonger avec eux. John nous donnait beaucoup d’explications et répondait aux questions que nous avions. Notre participation était aussi demandée pour trouver les lamantins.

Les capitaines se sont montrés plus que patients avec des abrutis qui n’avaient aucun respect, ni envers l’équipage ni envers les règles enseignées lorsque nous serions en présence des lamantins.
C’est triste car les comportements de quelques personnes gâchent l’expérience des autres participants. – via

Although our river snorkel/dive activity was cancelled due to a sick boat captain in the afternoon, our captain and guide during our morning manatee tour were phenomenal!
They worked extra hard to make sure we saw a manatee and were very knowledgeable about the area and the wildlife. The staff at the shop were helpful in getting rental gear and my parents are considering returning to this shop to get their scuba diving certifications another time! – via

We couldn’t see anything. The water was so silty. There were 2 manatees because we saw their snout when they came up to breathe but that was it. When I researched online the pics showed a clear river, where the boat stopped was in front of houses. There were 5 other manatee company boats with 20+ people each in the water.
When we arrived at the shop we were given a wet suit and snorkel equipment, sat in a classroom and watched an 8 min safety video, then had to get back in our car to drive 3min to the marina. Got on the boat and out into an inlet busy with boat traffic. During the 3 hours we spent 25 min in the water “looking” for manatees we couldn’t see.
All of the staff were friendly and knowledgeable and open to converse and answer questions. – via

My husband and I went on two different snorkel tours in Kings Bay. We was blessed to have John and Bruce the first day and John and Jerry the second day. John has a very fun personality and was determined to find some manatees for us to swim with. Would definitely recommend American Pro and also recommend having John as your tour guide. – via

My boyfriend and I completed their two day learn to dive class and all I can say is thank you to Rodney. Rodney was SUPER patient with me since I had trouble equalizing and controlling my buoyancy. Rodney kept telling me that if I had the will, he has the way!! Rodney had the patience of a saint, and was very knowledgeable and willing to answer any and all questions we had. Highly recommend booking with American Pro Dive and asking for Rodney! – via

My family and I went on the manatee snorkeling experience in Kings Bay, our Captains Rodney and Bruce were great! They were entertaining and full of information about the manatees, snorkeling, and the other excursions. It was a chilly day, but so worth it! Even my youngest who was too scared to snorkel out of wading depth had a manatee swim right by him, it was an awesome experience! – via

My husband and I went on a tour with captain John and captain Ryan today. They did a phenomenal job of navigating the water to ensure we were able to see manatees. The diving center staff was very helpful in getting us checked in and fitted for our snorkel gear. They were courteous and provided an overall comfortable, fun experience! John took a video and some really good pictures of all of the guests swimming, and the manatees. If you are looking for something to do, this is definitely worth the money and trip!! – via

We had such a great time! A wonderful experience. We did the guided manatee snorkel adventure and it exceed our expectation. The divemaster Vinny was amazing, he was patient and very helpful and knowledgeable. He was patient with my very vocal and inquisitive 7 yr old daughter. Our dry captain Bruce was amazing and helpful as well. Today was a lucky day that the manatees were on our good side, we saw a lot of them. We were about to gently touch them them. A once in a lifetime experience. We will definitely come back and use American Pro Diving again and will recommend it to everyone. – via

I was completely blown away by the level of service, explanation, and instruction. All you had to do was show up. From wearing the wetsuit to climbing into the boat, to proper behavior when interacting with the manatees they made everything so easy. Facility itself was very clean and organized.

Captain Bruce and John were fantastic. John has a zeal for this, and his excitement and passion was incredible. You can tell he loves what he does. It’s rare to meet people that bring this infectious energy.

As far as the manatees go, I saw so many I couldn’t even tell you. Going in the winter months is colder but you’ll see so many manatees. – via

My daughter and I dove with American Pro Diving Center over the MLK weekend. The staff is super friendly and helpful (especially John!). The shop is well stocked and has tons of great dive swag and equipment. The captains and dive masters ensured that safety protocols were followed. – via
