Enjoyed the trip with Captain Chris & Dive Master Corey. It’s a relaxed vibe yet all details are taken seriously by these guys. I didn’t dive so not a lot of interaction with Corey, but he seemed a pro at keeping the divers prepped for the water. Instead I snorkeled and it was awesome! Saw plenty including a sea turtle, a baby barracuda and a school of divers! Captain Chris is a man of the world who can handle a boat like he was born on it. It was evident they both care deeply about the environment around them. Highly recommend Taino Divers. – via

We had a great time with Captain Chris and Corey! They were extremely helpful and fun to be around. Captain Chris drove us around to ensure we got a clear and pleasant snorkel experience! We even saw a sting ray and sea turtle. We would recommend Taino Divers to anyone! – via

Super high viz. Cory described some dive sites and let us choose which one we want to go. He also gave me his long sleeve shirt for the second dive after I said I was cold during the first. More than enough drinks and snacks. Chris was a great captain. – via

Professional dive master. Smooth maneuver from our captain even in swell. Fun and friendly crew. Would recommend.

Update from Jan:
Despite the dive experience, the administration is very messy and slow. To resolve a refund for my wife’s cancelled dive, I literally have been calling them (nearly) daily for the past month. 80% of the calls were missed during their work hours. And only to find out she wasn’t refunded because she was asked to give an affirmative answer in order to ensure enough divers for the rescheduled trip.

To give everyone a fair evaluation, now I think back and this was accurate. I am only disappointed by the drag-on, not the decision. I have heard mixed experiences with the booking so something to keep in mind of. – via

Very professional crew from initial counter enquiry to the captain and DM. I would highly recommend Taino. Our DM (Alexis) was very knowledgeable, managed the group well, obviously passionate about diving, and an excellent communicator.
I believe that Taino is the only operator in Rincon that does boat charters – well worth it as the reefs are better further out.
Alexis knew the site well and where the morays and lobsters would be seen. During the surface interval we saw whales and our captain maintained a respectful distance. I will look forward to diving there again. – via
