Oasis is the best in PE! We stayed in their 2 bedroom condo, took surf lessons, surf trips and Spanish classes and have nothing but great things to say about it all! The housing is incredible – spacious, comfortable, clean with a pool and AC and the cleaning crew is so kind, they are thorough and treat you like family. The location is ideal if you’re a family or someone who wants to be able to sleep at night. It is quiet and a 3 minute walk to Carrizalillo.

Spanish teachers were the best in town! I’ve gone to several schools and my husband tried 2 other companies in PE. Oasis was far and away the best. They have a structured curriculum, solid teachers and resources to support your lessons no matter what level you’re at. My Spanish improved so much during my time there.

The surf instructors were patient, helpful and really fun.

All of the Oasis staff made us feel like family and went above and beyond to make sure we had a good experience. – via

We had an amazing time at oasis. We stayed here for 4 weeks. We had an amazing apartment. Our Spanish instructors (Liz and Roccio) were very kind and we learned a lot. It’s not just Spanish classes, you also really get to know the teachers and we connected with them and had fun with them! Our surfinstrucator (Pavel) was really patient and helped us a lot to improve. You can really see he loves his job and was so happy when we caught a wave. This really is memory we will never forget thanks to the oasis team, Pavel, Liz and Roccio. – via

We went for a surf trip with Oasis wich was a quite irritating experience. I surfed already a lot around the planet, still working on my skills. I prefer to go with a surf school when I don’t know the surf spots and it’s conditions. So we had quite big waves this morning, but you never know what the ocean is giving you. It’s nature and you need to take it as it comes. But what’s super important in my opinion that the surf school gives you all the information about the surf spot and how they want to work with you in the water. And that’s my point of criticism. The teachers said not more than 3 sentences about all that stuff. (It’s a point break. Paddle out to the left. Take care of the rocks) Vamos! No time for questions. A view minutes after paddling out a few really big sets hit the group in between some rocks. Nobody really knew how to act, where the current is taking us. During the sets my teacher tried to explain some things to be save. Hey, but the sets were really fast and there was no more time to talk. In the end I never felt so unsafe in the water like today. My boyfriend was suddenly super close to the rocks and the teacher was screaming at him from far away. In the end the only goal was to get everybody safe out of the water. The surf in total was super short. Even with better waves and a more helpful communication the surf is not worth the price. BUT, A girl told me that the Spanish lessons and the hosting with Spanish families must be really nice. Dear Oasis, please improve your safety instructions and guarantee a better price value – via

The whole experience was great! I got a very detailed email a few days before flying out. All the staff were very welcoming and shared tips for getting around. My instructor, Pavel, was professional, knowledgeable, patient and friendly. I was really glad I went with the AC option for my room. The room was clean and the cleaning staff gave me some items as I ran out before they were scheduled to clean my room. A bonus was the whatsapp group. I got to meet other travelers and hang out with them a couple of times this week. Puerto Escondido felt super safe, too. It was just an all-around positive experience and I hope to return at some point for some more lessons. – via
