Climbing Mt Kenya with Mr Patrick as our guide and his beautiful team was probably one of the most wonderful experiences I’ve had in a long time. I highly recommend you to get in touch with Mr Patrick and let him guide you up this spectacular mountain. Communication before arrival in Kenya was very easy, all questions were answered immediately and in detail. Mr Patrick organised transportation to pick us up in Nairobi. Shortly after our pickup we met the rest of our team which would help us carry our things up the mountain and prepare the most delicious, filling and thoughtful meals for us. Over the course of four days, these people became dear to us, as they are cheerful and loving bunch! The route suggested by Mr Patrick was amazing, filled with stunning landscapes and little adventures. We walked at a comfortable pace, that didn’t leave us puffing at the end of a hill but simply allowed us to continue further and further up. Mr Patrick knows and takes the risks of high altitude serious, giving enough time and advice on adjusting to it. Climbing up to the summit of Mt Kenya early to watch the sunrise felt safe with Mr Patrick and our wonderful second guide Michael – it was spectacular!

My trek up Mount Kenya wouldn’t have been the same without my incredible guide, Mr. Patrick. He wasn’t just knowledgeable about the mountain—he was a constant source of encouragement and good humor throughout the entire journey.

Reaching the summit of Mount Kenya was a truly unforgettable experience, and a large part of that is thanks to Mr. Patrick. Mr. Patrick guide is an amazing and trustworthy mountain guide. That day hike was a special experience in the impressive scenery of Mount Kenya National Park. Depending on your fitness level and motivation the mountain guide adapts to how far to hike.

I have done two trips with Patrick (Mt Kenya in 2021 and now Mt Kilimanjaro in 2024) and I can honestly say he deserves far more than five stars. Both journeys have been full of unforgettable and life changing moments and I am incredibly thankful that Patrick made them possible.

For both trips Patrick organised everything perfectly, finding an amazing team including cooks who always served delicious food despite being above 4000m, Porters who were always there to support me, and in the case of Kilimanjaro two additional local guides who knew the mountain like the back of their hand and provided amazing support – especially when altitude sickness kicked in after summiting. Patrick also offers an incredibly good deal – I honestly couldn’t been happier.

What truly makes a trip with Patrick unforgettable though are the moments and conversations you enjoy together on the mountain! A mountain can be a place for peace and meditation, a place to find yourself, a place to challenge yourself, or a place to discuss various topics and ideas. Patrick makes it possible to experience all of these moments on the mountain, by giving you peace when that is what you need and joining you in truly interesting and meaningful conversations when you are ready for them. Hearing Patrick’s story is also a true inspiration and I am incredibly thankful he shared it with me!

All I can say is this: if you were thinking about climbing a mountain – DO IT and make sure you book with Patrick as your guide! It will be a challenge but it will be worth every minute and every cent…and it may even change your life!

After all, I left Nanyuki at 7:00 in the morning and came back after 2:00 in the afternoon from the Sirimon Route to the point where I could see the summit of 3955m above sea level.
There were many forks along the way, and 4000m was quite hard for a body that wasn’t acclimatized to high altitude, so I was very satisfied with the porters and others I asked for this time. Thank you very much

2022年2月に、日帰りケニア山ハイキングを個人的にお願いしました。ガイド50ドル、ポーター30ドルでした。お二人ともとても親切な方々で、道中日本の話やアフリカの話で盛り上がりました。
結局シリモンルートから標高3955mの山頂がよく見えるポイントまで、朝7時にナニュキを出てから午後2時過ぎに戻って参りました(全く普段運動をしていない人の時間目安です)。
途中分かれ道もたくさんあり、高地順応をしていない体に4000mはかなかなハードだったため、ポーター含め今回はお願いして大満足でした。ありがとうございました – via

Loved every experience with Patrick and his team. Summited Lenana Peak on the 18th of March and it was everything I thought it would be. Patrick is very patient, gives the best tips on pacing yourself during the hike and took his time to take us to some photo worthy spots around the mountain.
