Highly recommend this camp! Everything is well organized and set up to make you progress in a great atmosphere. The staff and instructors are incredible. They take you to the best places and in the best conditions. We were really impressed with the quality of service. We will definitely be back! – via

Stayed a week at scl and learned here more about surfing (both in theory as in practice) than in the 4 years before. If you want to improve (or just start) your surfing this is the place to be. I think the price they ask is even a bit low for everything what they give (3 meals a day, accommodation, endless waves and so much knowledge). Furthermore its basic, so don’t expect any fancy insta stuff; I liked that and also the fact that this camp only attracts people who want to surf including that mindset. For one (or 2, go for 2) week you’re in an amazing bubble where you possibly also meet friends for life ❤️. It’s actually amazing to be around people who enjoy it more that you catch new and bigger waves then themselves. The whole camp vibe is amazing, from the chef (Ongky is a legend) to the coaches, bartenders and owners everyone is friendly, open and helpful. I’m thinking about making this a yearly holiday. I highly recommend this place!
From the basic set up I loved, the amazing instructors, the place and all the local crews around the camp… I have spent such an amazing time with amazing people. I also had the chance to be with an amazing group.

The teaching is great and I think I have well improved my surf, it is an intensive camp and be ready to surf a minimum of 4 hours daily plus theory, yoga …

I felt a sense of community in Gerupuk, even more at Surf camp Lombok where Olle and Jordy work closely with the locals to bring a true experience of surfing with the feeling to be part of a journey in Lombok.

I promise myself to be back a soon as I can to further improve my surf and see again all these beautiful people.

Fantastic little set up Well suited to anyone looking to improve their surfing. The facilities are basic but you have everything you need to be comfortable i.e. wifi etc. however if you are looking for lux this likely isn’t for you. Life converges in and around the longhouse which is beautiful ♥ (but watch the monkeys ) the food is excellent but its the team that makes this camp ♥ (hands down). Everyone from the chefs, the grounds team and of course the surf guides. These guys live a breath the bay and know it like the back of their hand… SO much better than rocking up by paying for boat to the breaks. They tell you what you need to know to catch the most waves and be safe, great little bay for an intro to reef surfing. Joining the camp simplifies EVERYTHING… typically 2 surfs a day leaving the camp by boat with meals waiting for you when you get back I particularly valued the photo analysis and theory which I didn’t put much stock in (at the start) as I had been surfing for a while but it has refined my surfing. I heard about the camp through word of mouth which says a lot. Thank you Jordy for all the hard yards, I know you guys are waking from a covid slumber but I thoroughly enjoy your last camp so please pass on my thanks to you and the team – via
