This place is propably the best accomodation in Nias.
The hosts are improving the facility constantly and treat you like family.

We stayed all January 2023 at Jamburae and loved it and cannot wait to come back. Petra, Site and the whole team are amazing and did everything to make sure we had the best time. Jamburae is in my opinion the best place to stay in Nias and fitting for everyone from solo travelers, friend groups, couples. The food is really great, homemade and fresh. The atmosphere at Jamburae is unique and feels like family. And there is no other place where you can wake up any closer to such legendary waves!! – via

Staying at Petra’s and Site’s was the most unexpected and beautiful thing that happened on our trip. They are both so nice and welcoming, it’s almost as staying at home with your family. The food is excellent (even for vegetarians), the rooms are clean, with A/c for the warmer nights and the other members of the staff are all so kind. Site is grilling almost every night fish and the view on the waves is exceptional. What else can I say! – via

I felt at home at Jamburae Lodge right from the start, great vibe! The lodge is perfectly located, right on the surf spot. A dream for any surfer or ocean lover. Very tasty and local food is served, fresh and varied. The staff team is very friendly, happy and understands English. I slept in a nice, spacious room with air conditioning and a comfy bed. For all surfers and surfing beginners, various surfboards can be rented, plus surf coaching. Thank you for the amazing time. I will definitely come back :). – via

Jamburae is a home away from home. Definitely the best place to stay on the island.
Site and Petra are wonderfully welcoming and accommodating with anything you need. They have done such a wonderful job with their place. Loved watching waves from the balcony or eating one of their countless amazing meals (the best you will find in Sorake) or eating fresh fruit from Sites farm.
