We held a family Celebration of Life here with about 50 attendees. The staff were very helpful, facility was clean and seasonally prepared with Christmas decorations. The wines provided were perfect for the event. Parking was well arranged and the wine store on the main floor was visited by many of the participants. We will return as it is a nice place . Went to check this place out as we rarely come to Comox.
Staff very informative and we had a lovely flight of Reds and Whites all really good.
Ended the day with 12 fabulous bottles of wine for us and Christmas.

I was a guest at a wedding held at the winery back in August, and the venue is gorgeous! Unfortunately, my experience with the staff was really awful. Wedding guests who arrived early for the reception were not allowed to purchase drinks from the winery while we were waiting for the ceremony to start – staff were really rude when relaying this to us. We also overheard staff members making crude and inappropriate comments about other wedding guests (their appearance and how stupid staff thought some guests looked on the dance floor). Which honestly, was so disappointing and so unprofessional. The two bartenders for the event were cutting people off who were not intoxicated, and one guest mentioned that they were charged for a glass of the wine that was provided by the bride and groom which was suppose to be free for guests. The drinks we could purchase from the bar at the event were mostly ice, and were very watered down. Based on my experience with the staff who worked the event, I will not be returning to this winery. – via

I’ve had exceptional service from everyone at 40 knots. It is my favourite place to go unwind and drink outstanding wine. All the ladies are fabulous for the tastings! I had my last one with Christine , she was amazing! I can’t wait to visit 40 knots again! – via
