My brother and I did our first skydive in August with Skydive Newport. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. It was only us two jumping + our instructors and the pilot so it felt like a private experience. The vibe upon arrival was very cool and calming and helped to ease my nerves, and the staff was helpful and answered all my questions too. Training was quick, simple, and informative. I felt like I needed to know what I needed to know, and no more, so it wasn’t overwhelming. My instructor, Eric, was great–kept me cool even though my nerves were racing. I had total trust in him the whole way up, and down. We had a clear day and could see so much, which was part of the reason why we chose this dropzone. The views were incredible. The jump itself was mind bending and intense but so fun and beautiful sensation. Biggest adrenaline rush of my life and would 100% do it again. I had been working up the courage to do this for over 10 years but I am so glad I did it and am so glad I did it here. The photos/videos were worth it too just to have that memory. Thank you! – via
