I stayed at Le Blanc Cancun last year (’22) and was admired by the experience celebrating an anniversary with my wife. Upon completion of our stay, we were offered a “deal” at checkout that we could not refuse.

The deal was a $299 voucher that could be used for a return for 5 days and 4 nights for $2,399.

My wife and I are expecting and now are looking to book our baby moon in April- this time for the Los Cabos location. However, upon contacting them they said they cannot book our stay because of Holy Week.

This was not stated in the Terms and Conditions, in which I showed them. They obliged, but said that because this is Holy Week, we must book and pay an extra night.
HOW LUDICROUS!! One would figure they’d treat their guests with hospitality and kindness to their return/loyal guests.

Their poor business ethics and greedy practices guarantees I will no longer be staying at Le Blanc or Moon Palaces in the future.

I can’t imagine staying anywhere else next time when I am in Cancun. I spent 5 days here this week – Best, freshest food; best service; amazing views from my balcony. I originally thought LB is a bit pricey, but after my stay, I feel it’s worth every penny! Not expensive at all for what you get. I also liked how the resort is smaller, more intimate, enabling the most attentive service for the guests. – via

Ultimately a very disappointing stay in what is often described as the best all inclusive in Cancun.

We were looking forward to our stay in Le Blanc for a long time. The rave reviews and status as the number 1 hotel on Trip Advisor for years lined this up as the ultimate hotel to stay in. Ultimately we stayed in another hotel Palace hotel for the 1st week of our trip with Le Blanc for the second week.

We expected Le Blanc to be a significant step up from the other palace hotels, it is priced at twice the cost after all. To be fair, it is a step up bit nowhere near twice as good. Breakfast and lunch buffets were actually of a worse standard than both Sun and Playacar Palace. Dinners were somewhat better but ended up having disappointing food on 3 of the nights that week. Worst being the Asian restaurant where yo good was served stone cold and had to be sent.

The included wines were also disappointing. Identical to the wines served in the supposedly lower standard Palace hotels.

What exactly is it that makes Le Blanc so special? Unfortunately, we never found out. Aside form some amazingly friendly staff members there is nothing else that special.

The real icing on the cake is that we were charged twice for our final bill on checkout. Upon raising the issue since returning home we were initially met with some assistance from the head concierge. However, my emails now go unanswered and I will need to go down the route of opening a dispute with my credit card company. We aren’t the typical “all-inclusive” type, so we were skeptical going in on this option. However, our friends are members here and wanted to go as a group. That said, the shuttle was easy from the airport, the check-in was easy, and we were impressed the whole week. My first impression: I had some trash in my hand, and thought, “Ya know, if this is truly a 3 Diamond 5 Star resort, wouldn’t it be cool if someone actually came up and took my trash?” Sure enough, within 30 seconds, a worker asked if he could take that from me. I was super impressed. The meals were all fantastic. The beach is great. The pools are a nice temperature. The room was impressive, the view was great. The service all-around was very charming and more than willing to help with anything. I had low or unknown expectations, but this resort definitely surpassed my dreams. We were thrilled. – via
