I went to their opening day weekend celebration because I was invited and I wanted to check it out. Although I won’t be jumping out of any airplane soon I did see a very professional and safely run drop zone. The place was full of positive energy and the people who did jump had the time of their lives. All with safe landings, I might add. I definitely recommend Skydive Colorado Springs in Penrose to anyone who is considering this type of adventure. – via

This place was incredible for my first time! Celebrated my 30th birthday with this experience. We were greeted while in our car at the gate by a sweet lady who brought on our initial peace-of-mind with her insight and advice. Joe strapped me in, was thorough in what to expect, gave great advice, and made me feel safe the entire time. I loved when he said “you can NOT do exactly all the things I’m telling you to do, and you’ll still be safe… you’ll just make me work a little harder”. Me, my fiancé, and my sister got into the little plane with our tandem partners and before we even left the ground, they explained that the winds had gotten too high and we needed to wait to jump. I so appreciated their expertise, their patience, and concern for our safety. We waited another half hour until the winds died down and finally jumped! The view was incredible from up there! The staff really make you feel like friends. This experience is one I will never forget. Thank you so so so much, from the bottom of my heart. – via

I don’t usually leave reviews for ANYTHING but this place was just SO AWESOME!!! I felt so safe and taken care of. There were some weather issues, but the entire staff was extremely communicative. The lady with all the tattoos, Qatarina, Who checked my large group in really patiently (because she was so busy the entire time, I don’t know how she does it )when we got there, was extremely informative throughout the entire process and answered every little question I had… And I had a lot of them!
There ended up being a long wait because of the weather, but it was still a wonderful place to be around and all the sky divers they were super cool.
There was also a mixup with the early bird special, but Lynne handled it for us and it was also super nice.
My instructor, Cam, was gorgeous and so experienced. All these people had thousands of jumps! OMG
This was my third Skydive, and by far the best. The facility was clean and definitely the most professional I have been to. Everything was very efficient, and although they unfortunately had to close down because of weather right after our landing, everyone was still happy to reschedule because everyone there was so great. we even stayed to hang out for like an extra half hour after closing. 10 out of 10 would recommend to anyone.
Oh yeah, and I watched the owner go out of his way to edit some photos special for some girl who didn’t get her video and was crying about it. Talk about going above and beyond.
