I decided to choose MDC because after speaking to other dive centres I felt that the owner (Yoon) did not rush or push me into anything and that is the way I prefer to learn. He is very patient and takes the time to explain and show me the gear I purchased.
For my confined water lesson, I was paired up with Pat. He was also very patient with me. As soon as I felt something was off we surfaced and he waited until I was ready to try the skill again.
I also met other instructors Bill and Marty. Although I didn’t train with them, they were pretty friendly as well. ??????to the team.
I would recommend MDC to anyone who is serious about diving. – via

Newbie in the mix. First impressions today 11/08/2021
I walked in an met Mr Yoon. A gentleman and a half. I spent 2 hrs with him..asked him all the questions. And he spent time answering all. I cannot explain his passion to teach and pass on his knowledge

Havent done any courses here but I have bought and rented equipment here. Yoon is very knowledgable and sincerely wants his customers to be comfortable and happy with the products they buy. For the size of the shop I am amazed at how much stock he actually has, and if he doesn’t he is very quick to get it in. Hard to find places where the owner doesnt try to push his most profitable products, but products you can tell they firmly stand behind and use themselves. I wouldnt hesitate to send anyone here for gear, and im sure the courses they offer are just as good! – via
