What an awesome experience all around. Nuria, the owner, and her staff are the best. Always happy and extremely knowledgeable.

The dive shop is clean, well organized, and set up to offer everything you would want from a five star PADI dive shop. The rental equipment worked perfectly and the air in the tanks was clean and always filled to 3000psi. Their boat is spacious, fast, and easy to get off and on.

I did four dives during my stay with them and never had a bad experience. There is so much marine life on the island that you are almost guaranteed to see a turtle or stingray. Lots of fish of all kinds make the reef’s in Roatan home. The dive staff know all of the dive sites and pick the perfect ones to fit the day’s conditions.

The location of the shop is perfect. Close to west bay, but not in it, so you are not fighting with a dozen other shops trying to leave in the same area. It is so quiet and peaceful in their location. The boat is a short walk from the shop and is in a protected bay.

I will be diving with Octopus for the rest of my life. So glad that I found them. Thank you for a wonderful experience! – via google

We were open water certified a week before our dive in Roatan. To say I was nervous is an understatement. I wanted to make sure that my husband and I dove with people that understood we were new, this was our first dive, and needed a bit of reassurance. I’m so very very thankful we chose Octopus Dive School. Bryce took us out on the first dive and was very patient and didn’t rush me as I worked on descent and equalizing. The next day, we went with Nuria and WOW, this was an even better experience. You feel as if you are diving with family. Nuria takes safety very seriously and provided a very thorough pre-dive session. I struggled a bit with descending and remaining neutrally buoyant and she was there every step of the way, very calming and intuitively knew what I needed to become comfortable and enjoy my 2nd ever dive.
My husband and I enjoyed the experience so much, we have booked our advance open water training with Nuria and Octopus Dive School. Can’t really say enough good things about this school. If you are thinking of booking training, a dive, or snorkel – book with them. You will never regret it 🙂 – via google

I cannot say enough incredible things about Octopus Dive School and Nuria Corraliza.

I had never been snorkeling before, and neither my wife (An Die) nor I had ever been scuba diving. Prior to going to Roatan, I read a Facebook post where someone mentioned doing both of these things with Octopus Dive School and how incredible their experience was. So I started doing my own research and found many others who all said the same. I reached out to Nuria via email at first, and then we switched to communicating via WhatsApp. She was so helpful with everything – providing information and insights to all of our snorkeling/diving options available to us! She even provided some great recommendations for accommodations near the dive school. And she even arranged for travel (we were close to West End) on the days we went to the dive school.

While my wife had been snorkeling and was much more open-minded to scuba, I was a little more apprehensive on the scuba diving. So we started with a snorkeling experience. Bryce was our instructor and he was awesome!…helping explain things, and then guide us along on the experience.

It was so amazing it led to us committing do doing the Discover Scuba course the next day…which Bryce was our instructor for as well. Again, he was awesome. In addition to being great at explaining new concepts to beginners, his calm and supportive attitude really helped ease us into something that was completely new. We absolutely loved it and are definitely going back to Octopus Dive when we return to Roatan!
